I first met the internet on October 6th of 2001. I had just gotten my very first computer and, with the help of some very talented folks in Yahoo! Chat Help:1, I was on my way to the Yahoo! experiance within a couple short months. I drifted into and out of several rooms, met some nice people and settled down in Married But Looking:8 & 9. Somewhere I lost interest in 8 & 9 and drifted into Adult Webcams:10 on the spark of knowledge gleaned from someone asking about Adult rooms. (I didn't even know they existed. LOL ) This site is a direct result of that chance meeting. There are certain people who seems to have the magnetism to charge a group of people and keep them in sync with each other, this is the case with the Grande Dames of Adult Webcams:10 Shan, and her sis Kerry, ( an ELEGANT brace of wee Scottish {Scotch?} lassies ), drew me into room:10 and I had a choice to make....I knew some nice people from the 8 & 9 rooms but they drifted in and out, I thought maybe I could bring all the people I met together. Alas, it was not to be. However, there seemed to be a real atmosphere of comradery in room:10, some spark that kept people glued to the room. That glue was these two ELELGANT women at the core, and several of their friends providing the underpinnings to weave a stable community. Shan, Kerry, Nauty, Nutty, Suzie, BBB, Kyliving, & a few others were the nexus, the nectar that kept a swarming group of drones striving to entertain them. What stood out about THIS group, was their ability to attract and retain SMART people, not bubbleheaded blockheads, to the community. Of course, it didn't hurt that some of these SMART people also happened to be EXTREMELY attractive. LOL. That grace, wit, humor, a chat screen that races at the speed of a fighter jet, and the raw intelligence I was exposed to ( and that's not all I was "exposed" to either. LMAO ), drew people in. Some drifted on, but many, many of them kept returning. The room is now one of the hardest rooms to get a seat in all day. There was a time in the fallof 2002 when all the rooms experienced a sudden dissolution and new groups coalesced out of the turmoil. All the people I had known were quickly lost to new and unfamiliar rooms with new IDs, impossible to trace and remain in touch with. Room:10 suffered a severe shock along with the rest, but somethng held. The room stood alone after the debris of shattered groups drifted down, the same community as before the shake-up. Yes, we lost a few friends, but the core remained, and even now, the lost ones return from time to time and fall right back in like they were family, joining a constant steam of new, funny, beautiful, and SMART arrivals who seem to remain as well. It is my stolid belief these core ladies were the nurturing force that bound this community so intricately. To them I dedicate this site and my most heartfelt thanks for something I had little of in my life, laughter, equality and acceptance. THANK YOU LADIES !!!!!!!!!!!!! And thank you to the husbands, boyfriends, and family that are willing to share these great and gracious women with us all. |
