PHONETIC PRONUNCIATIONS OF THE TRANSLITERATED-GREEK-TO-ENGLISH-LETTERED WORDS OF THE(?) SCRIVENER/TRINITARIAN GREEK TEXT OF MATTHEW CHAPTER 1 OF THE NEW TESTAMENT OF THE HOLY BIBLE

The reason for this website is that there are so many so-called bible translations in English, besides even Greek texts, for what is PURPORTED to be and/or CLAIMS to be the ACTUAL God-given Holy Bible.

It almost goes without saying that such DIFFERENT-AGAINST-each-other bible renditions and Greek texts are OBVIOUSLY DISCREPANT against each other when one CAREFULLY compares their exact words.

Much has been written about certain deplorably-and-laughably archaic, and some serious mistranslation, of the King James Version....and much has been written about crucially-devious additions, omissions, and non-authorized word replacements (compared to the KJV) of the RSV, NASV, NKJV, YLT, and especially the NIV and TEV types.

Underlying different renditions of course are different GREEK TEXTS -- all but ONE of which - [ logically ] - are IN-correct and IN-accurate in either so-called slight, partially-slight, somewhat-slight, significantly-slight, insignificantly-slight, not-at-all-slight, etc. ways....in sharp and distinct contrast to that ONE PERFECTLY-accurate and 100%-reliable TRUE Greek Text of the New Testament.

This webauthor sincerely believes (even KNOWS!) that THE Word of the Lord stays around FOREVER (and in print until fulfilled in Jesus within The New Jerusalem), AND that the Holy Spirit has preserved and continues to make available to us today in the 21st century that ONE TRUE Text. Moreover, He has persuaded and continues to persuade, has enlightened and continues to enlighten those of His choice [His elect saints] that such Text is INDEED THE One True Greek Text of the New Testament which is inerrant and infallible, which can be COMPLETELY trusted as to AUTOGRAPH accuracy, and which Divinely-inspired CONSTANT humans can base worthy translations upon in every known language, including English.

And WHAT is that Text, by name?

It is NOT various anything-EXCEPT-The-True-Text multiple revisions of any Nestle, Aland, Metzger, Hort-and-Westcott, Alexandrian, Sinaticus, nor UBS ones as advertised by the American Bible Society.

It IS instead THE Scrivener/Trinitarian Greek Text, synthesized in 1894 from KJV-related Received/Majority Greek texts previously discovered, analyzed, and re-printed by Erasmus (a contemporary of Martin Luther), Beza, and Stephens.

Each Greek word has only ONE constant meaning, and cannot have different nor random meanings. Even in English, words spelled exactly the same (even though referring to different things), when in IDENTICAL contexts ALWAYS have PRECISELY the SAME meanings!

The following nineteen (19) .gif images below portray what the title above specifies.

Additional Interpretive Information

Because old-time typewriters cannot print bold nor italic letters, the Greek letter eta is symbolized below by (e), whereas epsilon is symbolized by merely e. Similarly, the Greek letter omega is represented by (o), whereas the Greek letter omicron is represented by simply o.

a. CAPITALIZED syllables are ACCENTED in accord with their probable multi-syllabled English-word correlation.

b. Pertaining to the Verse References column, the MT refers to 'Matthew,' the 1 refers to the first chapter of Matthew, the next number is the verse number, and the last number of each row within that column is the word number. ]

Discrepancies exist in different English translations.

For example, good renditions of Hosea 13:13 are found in the RSV, NIV, and New English Bible (NEB).

Good renditions of First Corinthians 6:9-10 are found in Wesley's New Testament (WNT) and Young's Literal Translation of the New Testament (YLT).

Both the New American Standard Version (NASV) and the King James Version (KJV) [but not the Revised Standard Version (RSV)] basically agree on the wording of Proverbs 5:19.
