Ready, Steady, Go! was a TV program that was aimed at the modern youth and was first aired in August 1963. It was full of visual impact and showed the latest in music, fashion, dance and slang. The show was hosted by Cathy McGowan, a fashionable young lass with dark hair who became an idol to the viewers of the show.
