The Underground - A secret organization in charge of monitoring world activities and preserving justice. Their primary activities revolve around foiling the schemes of B.A.C.K.W.A.R.D. The Mediterranian area (and therefore Deb U) is in the Delta Sector of the Underground's network.
wolfkin - Wolfkin are humans who can turn into wolves; or is that wolves that can turn into humans? Due to the bad press from werewolf fiction, they try to lead peaceful lives in isolated communities. To the wolfkin fur, claws, and fangs are no different from clothes, weapons, and tools and they are able to transform these items with them, but can not change clothing by transforming to wolf form and then back to human. Silver poisoning will freeze a wolfkin in its present form and, if left untreated, eventually lead to death.
