I wonder if I'll ever have peace?
I hear turmoil in my own voice.
I see fragile smiles wash away.
I want to see things anew.
I am at a new stage in my life.
I pretend sometimes life is perfect.
I feel anxious for the first time.
I touch the mirror to smooth my reflection.
I cry when I want to laugh.
I am at a new stage in my life.
I understand what I did not before.
I say more than I should.
I dream there is a place for me.
I try to keep the faith, baby!
