Selected Recipe

Fantastic Elk Egg Rolls

2 pounds ground elk (venison)
1 medium onion, chopped
2 Tbs. cooking oil
12 Egg roll skins
Longhorn cheese, cut in 12 strips 1/4" x 3"
3/4 to 1 cup green chilies
Salsa sauce

Directions

Brown ground elk with onion in small amount of oil. Fill each egg roll skin with meat and onion mixture, a strip of longhorn cheese and green chilies to taste. Roll up egg rolls and seal edges; moisten with water to seal. Brown stuffed egg rolls in oil until golden brown. Serve with your favorite salsa.
