Feb.14 Valentines Day. Is it Valentines Day or Valentine's Day? Does the day belong to Mr/Mrs/Ms Valentine or is it a day to give out Valentines? I don't know and I don't care. It's been 12 years since I had someone to give a "Valentine" to. I may try to meet someone someday, but life all alone isn't all that bad. I'm not really alone with 12 cats. They are really comforting and only ask to be fed, kept warm, and talked to.
My hearing held no surprises. The judge was cool and she spoke loudly enough for me to hear her. There was some dude that said there were 5000 jobs that I could do but neither he nor the judge had the details as to where they were or if they were hiring. They more or less determined me to be a liar (under oath? I think not) when I said I could only just barely handle a 4 hour easy job. They clearly stated that there might even be as many as 15,000 jobs were in this area that were 8hr jobs I could handle. Now, If there is an employer that would give me 15 minutes to get my hands working every time they acted up, which is often, and give me a paid hour lunch and not require me to think or concentrate, well, yes, I could be there 8 hours, but not everyday.
My furry cat hasn't returned yet. I dreamt she had, but the odds are really poor for her to find her way home. I don't want to give up hope, but I have to be realistic. I was wrong to take her with me to the post office but that's over and done with. I keep kicking myself but it doen't do me any good and it isn't getting her back home, either. I say she was my favorite cat but the other 12 are equally my favorites for various reasons. Furball really liked me and was there every night waiting for me to pull in from work or a store. She would sit on my lap and purr for as long as I cared to stay in the car. She slept on my chest for hours summer or winter, day or night. I will miss her so much but I won't believe she's dead until I see it. I believe she's out there somewhere kicking butt.
I'm taking a couple of weeks off in a couple of weeks. I want to clean up the back yard and build a shelter for the cats.
My daughter is working (she's still in Kansas) as is her boyfriend. His mom is watching my grand-daughter and everything seems to be going smoother now that the kids are in their own place. My daughter still wants to have me live there but I can't let her support me and I have my cats here, too. I admit that Kansas seems a lot nicer than Ohio but I am an Ohioan.
