Welcome... In 2003 I found a funny web site called TheSpoof. I started writing fake news stories for it (as anyone can) and discovered that I really loved doing it. More than fifty stories later I decided I might like to do this for a living somehow, someway, someday. And judging by the ratings and comments received from viewers as well as other writers, I must have some talent at it. So the ForgedReport was launched as an online resumé, and as a way to keep practicing while having ownership of the content. The first links posted here were back to my older stories on TheSpoof. They have ownership of those stories. Newer content will link to pages similar to this one and are my intellectual property. Permission is not granted to copy and paste the content onto e-mail or other sites other than maybe a snippet with a link back to the original story on this site. If you are interested in writing spoof news stories yourself, I highly recommend TheSpoof.com as a great and easy way to get started and published on the internet.
