She was the biggest East Indiaman ship of her day.

The "HINDOSTAN" was sunk in a storm in 1803 off the Wedge Sands, Margate. She was carrying cargo from India which included 50 ton of tin, 20 tons of East india Co copper Coins, silver coins, silver bars, etc
