Kero was the guardian of the Clow Cards...he was in the middle of a hundred year old or so nap, when he discovers Sakura freeing all the Clow Cards and appoints her a Card Captor to help regain them all. His true form is that of a huge winged cat, but when the cards were released he lost a lot of his power, and can only maintain the form of a stuffed animal. He helps out Sakura all throughout the series in her quest to recapture the cards. And he isn't afraid to let people know what he thinks of them, and he instigates bad blood between himself, Showron, and Meilin. He considers both of them brats, and doesn't call either one of them by their proper name. At times, you'll also notice Showron offer advice to Sakura before Kero does, so as to make Kero seem unprepared. When he's not out chasing cards with Sakura, he loves to eat and play video games.
