The parade, which features marching bands, Czech dancers, floats, the Czech Queen, Princess and Prince, polka bands, and folk dancers in costume, marks the opening of the event.

Parade Day

The purpose of the Czech Festival is the preservation and sharing of the old Czech customs, in addition to providing a part of the traditional Czech foods. These customs and recipes have been handed down from generation to generation.
