Lots of stuff has happened since I last posted. A few requests, a few things here and there, not a whole lot. Can't believe there's only a week left until the album's released. So here's some recent stuff, anyway...

:found another couple excuses to plug JLC in my journalism classes
:one of my friends told me she downloaded some Jump mp3s; she's probably listened to them by now, i'll have to ask her. hoping for the best!

:by the way, Shark told me a while back that "Vertigo" was in the latest batch of stuff they stuck in rotation, or at least that was my impression. That means everybody needs to go to 1065.com and request Vertigo... as soon as we can, anyway.

:called the Shark during Budweiser Lounge and requested "Vertigo." He said he'd play it if he could find it.
:called again a few hours later and voted for someone or other on New Rock Wrasslin'. Asked about "Vertigo." He mentioned that someone had called earlier also wanting to hear Jump, but he wasn't sure where it was.

:called during Budweiser Lounge, Shark still couldn't find the CD.
:called the Shark again a while later to see if he'd found it; he said he still couldn't find the CD but it might be in the music library. I asked him to send another DJ to get it if he couldn't, pretty pretty please, I'd really appreciate it since I haven't yet heard the single. And yes, I was telling the truth. I'm going to try to limit my calls to 1 a day so he won't get sick of me and ignore my requests.

:emailed Dr X to see if there was any more room in Rep Army. (OK, so that doesn't really count. I emailed him, anyway.)
:went to AOL chatroom "Music Alt" and brought up JLC as many times as I could without getting people pissed. Nobody had heard of them, but I told people to go to a concert if Jump ever came to town. I suffered through an AOL chat for these guys. I must love 'em. ;-)
:added the following to my AIM profile: Jump, Little Children is the best band in the world! Vertigo, their new CD, hits stores on September 25 so buy it! If you aren't so sure you're ready to buy it, at least see JLC the next time they're in your area. You won't regret it.
