So what's being a Girl Guide All About?
Guides work together and have fun. It's a brilliant opportunity to meet new friends out of school. If you're the outdoors type, you might want the chance to represent Scotland at an International Camp! Whatever your interests there's a badge for you...Animal Active...Sports...Teamwork and don't forget the Chocolate badge....yes, chocolate!!! Information on all the badges is on the Girl Guide Website.
Guides also work together in their Patrols, doing cool stuff like Survival Outdoors, Cooking, Fitness and Party Planning..there's lots more too! You can find Go For It packs at meetings to give you plenty of inspiration.In our unit we like to play loads of games..some favourites include Splat!, Down, Down Down and Mother May I? Bring along your fave game and we'll give it a go.
2003
We really like to go on trips out of the meeting hall. Last year we went bowling..the competition was fierce, and we had loads of fun..the highlight of the trip was everybody's funky moves on the dance mat...shake it!!
Winter term's trip, we went to the Gangshow to see our Young Leader in action. the trip was brilliant fun, loads of singing and dancing, next year we're all audtioning!
2004

Sleepover 2004
We had a sleepover in our meeting hall, with a Pop Idol theme. Guides helped to make their own food and we played games and enjoyed some dancing. The big game was 'Become a Pop Idol' where we went round different stations where we made ourselves into a band!
We made up a rap, a dance and put on our make up ready for the show. The weather was great all the time and we played outside too.
Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make the first annual halloween party a success!
