-I would like to present some of the many talented and great musicians and "brothers in crime" from my tracksheet. -There are so many good and sincere people playing, and some of my fullest moments in life, have been interacting with them in a spiritual way only music can set the frame and open up for..
Haakon Graf Norway
Currently I work with several projects. Grafitti with Dennis Chambers drums, Gary Grainger bass, and Ulf Wakenius guitar is due for a new CD on
My "homeboy" Trio, with
Erik Smith; drums, Frode Berg; bass. There is a great salsa / latin
community in Oslo, with some very talented and serious musicians from Cuba and South America.
Both the afrobrasilian & afrocuban scene inspires and let me learn more each day....
Guitarist
Frank Gambale, I met some years back at Namm Show in Anaheim, and later toured  both in USA and Scandinavia. Another guitarist who turned up in northeurope after working with Joe Cocker, is Mike Gallaher, - also a " baltimoron "  - awsome player & singer..look out folks!
-Questions, info etc..  feel free to email me:
DENNIS CHAMBERS; drums
From hearing Dennis at the Copenhagen Jazzfestival in 1988, where I played with Airto Moreira and Flora Purim, to a year later recording in Bill Pratt's studio in Baltimore..then preparing two tours in Scandinavia, adding live & studio recordings..up to USA  & Europe  tour in -94 where the CD "Good Groove" was released through the great Lipstick Records led by Alex Merck,  - it's been a one of a kind experience playing with this man. From moment one, when rehearsing - after mailing my tunes over to him and Gary...A definate "Yes" was all I could feel and think. In the pocket...and under their skin..I felt greatful to the dedication and work they had put into the tunes.
I must confess I'd never heard him until Copenhagen -88, but nowadays after the great records with
Scofield, Brecker Brothers, John McLaughlin's Free Spirits, Steely Dan etc...any contemporary musiclover knows what Dennis is capable of. A true musician.
I've even heard some unreleased recordings with him and
Herbie Hancock...sick!
GARY GRAINGER; bass
ULF WAKENIUS; GUITAR
Gary came out the clear blue sky in Copenhagen, a" Blue Matter" sort of, and had such a creative
and playful overveiw rythmically and tone / soundwise, that I told myself to catch up with him &
Dennis as soon as the tour was over. Some musicians seems to be hiding, or have somehow
missed the <Train To Popularity>, might be because they scare people....I don't know..To me he is one serious heavyweight champion. Brother
Greg & Gary has the project Grainger Brothers.
