Disclaimer :- All the tips and tricks which u find here on this page are my very own.I am the one who have found them or developed them by my own capability. If there is anything that i have borrowed or somebody had helped me in any way, i have given the credit to the concerned person then and there.

There is no way in hell that i am going to be held responsible for it. Coz, if u use these tricks u have to use them at your own risk. Y! Messenger Tricks

(1)BOOT CODE for Y! messenger 5.0 -- The new boot codes are given in the text below below one by one.

(2)To make your Yahoo! messenger unbootable -- I am holding this trick back for a long time. Coz, if it becomes too common then Boot, Crash & Freeze etc. will be eliminated for once and all. Then, how could I beat the hell out of my enemies, how could I rule over Yahoo! chat rooms ??
But, now things have changed I have lost interest in Yahoo! and all these stuffs. And now since I am not involved too much in these stuffs, I decided to put an end on this menace.
As you people can see above in trick no.(1) these boot codes are nothing but HTML tags, HTML commands that the messenger couldn't understand, and sometimes HTML errors are also used. Some still works and some have stopped working due to upgradation of messenger.
Now from here read carefully. Go to --» C: drive --» Program Files --» Yahoo! --» Messenger --» filter1. It is a .txt file. Open it with notepad, You will find loads of abuses written there, delete them if you dont want to block them too. Then, write all the Boot codes in the notepad one by one seperated by commas and save the changes. Then, log in your Y! messenger, Go to --» Preferences --» Chat. Select the Word Filter option in Strong mode. Click on Apply and OK.
Now, enjoy a peaceful and safe chatting.
(3)To prevent Invite bombing -- Invite bombers are really a headache for one and all. U are never sure when this is going to strike U. Invite bombing is nothing but repetitive use of /Invite command. To Invite bomb somebody U have to send the Invitation in a chat room, but I have come across many dickheads who tried to Invite bomb me and kept sending Invitation in a PM window. LOL!! I tried to teach them right there the correct method but of no use. HUH!!
Anyway log in Y! messenger, Go to --» Preferences --» Chat. Put a tick in the checkbox saying Ignore chat invitations. Click on Apply and OK.
Now, nobody can Invite bomb U.
(4)To grab your victim`s IP over the new Y! messenger 5.0 -- To Grab An IP easily off the new yahoo, you must open up the imvironment window. After you have done this and have connected, open up your ms-dos prompt. Type netstat - an, You will see a list of IP's on different ports, you are looking for port 5101
(5)Some new effects of Y! messenger 5.0 -- Yahoo programmers are dumbass and morons. But, here they have done something which deserves little bit of appreciation.
Select IMvironmental theme of Falling Hearts or Snow Flakes and hit Ctrl+G. You will see something very beautiful. What is it ?? Find out yourself .
(6)New uncracked smileys of Y! messenger -- Nothing much to talk about here I am just giving u the codes of new smileys available.

(7)Sending messages in Y! chat rooms in the form of emotions or notifications of joining & leaving the room -- This is a pretty kool stuff, suppose your screenname is epimp01. If u say Hi room. It goes like this--> epimp01:hi room. But when u use emotion groans loudly, or when u join or leave the room the message goes like this--> epimp01 groans loudly 'OR' epimp01 joined the room 'OR' epimp01 left the room. To send any message in above form begin your message with a colon (:).
example:- If u wanna say kicks smarty. Write :kicks smarty. Message will be displayed like this epimp01 kicks smarty. There will be no colon between your screen name and your message. Note:- Since, Yahoo! has updated its messenger so to make this trick work first send a string of colons in the room. Like this :::::::::: then use this trick. Do this in room window.
(8)To send sounds on Y! messenger -- Nothing to explain the command for sending sounds is

(21)Creating new skins for Y! messenger -- Select a image that u want to be background of your Y! messenger. Then go to-->My computer-->C:drive-->Program files-->Yahoo-->messenger-->skins.
Create a new folder there and name it. Open this folder and save that image in bitamap(.bmp) format there name it background. Then come to your Y! messenger go to preferences-->appearences-->current theme and then select and apply the new skin. The name of the new skin will be the name of the folder that u created in skins folder.
I myself never thought about this my good frnd Anupam is the one who gave me the idea about this. And rest i did myself.

(22)To create your own customized emotions in Y! messenger -- Go to My computer-->C:drive-->Programme files-->Yahoo!-->messenger-->emote.dat. Open emote.dat file with notepad. Now u can add emotions of your choice there but don't forget to take care of alphabetical order. I hope that u people can do the rest yourself. But, I will just give one example in case u face any problems.
Suppose u wanna create an emotion to invite peoples in the room and the whole room in general. Name that emotion Inviter, set the message for the whole room as Welcome all u people in this great room, set the message for a particular user as %s welcome to this room. This %s will be replaced by the username u highlight in room's username index window when this emotion will be displayed in the room. All these three parts will be separated by a "/". The exact syntax for creating this emotion is like this :- Inviter/Welcome all u people in this great room/%s welcome to this room
Don't forget to place your emotion in correct alphabetical order so it will be easy for u to locate your emotion in the emotion list of the room. Just save the changes in that emote.dat file and your new emotion is ready for use. The name of your emotion in emotion list will be Inviter. That's it.
