A letter from me, the web mistress...

Dear EVERYBODY,

With the scarce amount of good Whose Line sites out there today, it's hard to find one with a decent picture gallery, a massive archive of hilarious quotes, a featured section for Ryan's shoes, or all those Kinkos advertisements.  Here at 6'6'', I'm proud and pleased to provide you guys, the fans, a fix to your daily required dose of Whose Line.  Unlike a lot of the other sites that seemed to have lost hope in Whose Line is it Anyway and closed, 6'6'' has been running strong and will do so for as long as I can keep it up.  You know, in the good ol' days when we would always gather around the TV set every week with our tapes or whatnot ready to watch our show, no one really had the thought that maybe someday that special time of our week, that special hour of comedy, would at some point not be there anymore to make us laugh.  I mean, it was always in the back of our minds, but we tried not to think about it.  What did we care?  Our show was on.  That was all that mattered, right?  When the time came we would deal with.  Well, as the years went on, and months passed, we started to realize the reality that nothing lasts forever.  It became extremely difficult to bear the thought of our lives without the warm happy times of Whose Line.  The constant disrespect and juggling of time slots from ABC made it quite clear that Whose Line is it Anyway was living its final days.  It angered us that our show, our dear treasured show, was being used as a filler program.  Our feelings of being Whose Line deprived sadly became easier and easier to deal with.  With frequent periods of months between episodes, it was less and less painful to picture our lives without our show.  I guess we have ABC to thank for something.  A gradual let down was better than an abrupt end.  Before about a week ago, I'm sure most fans were in agreement that Whose Line had shown its last episode and had been cancelled.  Though, the confusion of no honest season finale left some with hope that it would return.  Whatever the case, we have a reason to be happy again that it IS coming back!  I would like to think that it was the fans' hard work to bring the show back that swerved ABC decision.  Maybe they WERE reading and listening to our complaints, though, I shouldn't call them "complaints".  More like "advice".  Complaining is too negative for what we were doing.  Well anyway.  I would just like to thank everyone sincerely for your efforts and love towards Whose Line is it Anyway.  I have never been so involved in something that has had such great and supportive fans like us.  I have made some of my best friends just from having the same interest in the show.  You look at other fanbases and there's fighting over who's a bigger fan and stupid nonsense crap like that, and then you come here, and no one cares what your status of 'fanage' is.  We're just happy you love the show.  We are like a family with the best inside jokes.  I mean, where else can you just randomly say, "Doot dootle Dooo!  I have no hair!"  and expect a laugh?  ...Well, maybe not the BEST example, but you get my point.

This has already gone longer than I had planned and I'm starting to ramble, so I should probably try to wrap it up.  I'm going to keep doing my best to offer you guys pics and quotes to fulfill your Whose Line  craving, so don't expect this site to mysteriously disappear like some others I know of...ahem...  Sadly, though, there's not much to update with these days, but I'll at least keep the site running.  Alllrighty then!  On to the site!  ...Again, thanks a BILLION to EVERYBODY.  I love you all!!!  WHOSE LINE POWER!!!!  YEAH!!!  :)

From,

Melanie
