Chapter Seventy

“Angel, this is my fiancé Jess. Jess this is my twin sister Angel.”

“Hi Jess. I’ve been waiting so long to meet you.” Aaron had introduced the girl’s right after Angel stopped hugging him.

“I’ve been waiting to meet you too.” Jess and Angel hugged and sat down.

“Hey Aaron?”

“Yes, Jessie?”

“I’m going to take a trip to the ladies room.”

“Oh, me too!” Angel stood up.

When the girls were out of range of the boys they began to talk. “Angel, your brother is so sweet.”

“Yeah, I taught him all the good stuff. Anything bad he does… blame on Nick.”

Jess smiled at Angel, “We’re going to get along great.”

“You know he never stopped talking about you when I was with him. Well, except his sixteenth birthday party… he hardly talked at all then. But since then pretty much every conversation we’ve had has involved you.”

“He talks about you a lot too.”

“Really?”

“Yeah, he really missed you guys.”

“He visited a few weeks ago and wasn’t very talkative. I knew something was up the minute he came in. He just went to his room and looked though his pictures.” Angel glanced at her watch. “We better fix ourselves up and get back out there before they send a search party.”

“Yeah.”

“Jess, look.” Aaron held up a newspaper as the girls returned.

“That’s a good picture.” Angel smiled.

“The Backstreet brother of Aaron Carter announced the news last night at a concert. Flaunting his brother and soon to be sister, Nick seemed as happy as the young couple.” Jess read aloud. “They sure do work fast.”

“Yeah, front page and everything. You are officially famous.” Mark laughed pulling a pen out of his pocket and offered Jess a napkin to sign her autograph on.
