BAND NEWS
-Metallica- A new album is to come out early summer.
-Slayer- 7cd boxed set and new album out in the spring.
-Morbid Angel- New album should be out in late spring
-Ozzy- He is working on a new album featuring Joe Holmes, Robert Trujillo and Mike Bordin. Rumour has it to be released late march.
-Blaze Bayley- His new project "Blaze" will release a debut album late march.
-Judas Priest- They are currently in the studio recording a new album. A movie(Metal Gods) will be made on the coming of Ripper Owens in the band. It will be directed by Stephen Hereck and produced by George Clooney.
-Iced Earth- The band is currently writing new songs for a new studio album coming this year.
-Black Sabbath- The 2nd Nativity in Black album is being put together featuring; Pantera,Ozzy with Primus,Megadeth,Machine Head with Goldie,Monster Magnet,Godsmack, and Static-x.
-Helloween- The band plan on going in the studio soon for a new september release.
-Stratovarius- Recording of new album is almost done entitled "Infinite". It should come out in february.
-Malevolent Creation- New album should be out on feb.22nd.
-Dirty Deeds- New album out on feb.22nd.
-Dio- New album out soon(feb 8th) it is a concept album named Magica.
-Ozzy- The director of the movies Decline of Western Civilization is doing a movie on this summer's Ozzfest which as yet to be named.
-Iron Maiden- They are currently recording the new album which should see the light of day late spring/early summer. Kevin Shirley is producing the album (he produced bands such as Judas Priest, Bon Jovi, Dream Theater,...). The album is being recorded in Paris for the first time.
-In Flames- The band is in the studio pre-recording a new album.
-PanterA- Recording is done, now they're mixing the album. It should be out in march/april. Rumor confirmed Kerry King is on one song called God Damn Electric.
-King Diamond- King is working on a new album which should come out in march..
-MetallicA- They'll be doing a new song for the sequel to Mission Impossible's soundtrack.
-Cannibal Corpse- US tour dates released. Check them out here.
-PanterA- Finishing touches on new album are going on, no release date yet. Rumor has it that Kerry King of Slayer has done a guest appearance on one song.
-Cannibal Corpse- Latest news from them is that they will be touring north america in february starting with the northeast. The tour will be called THE DEATH METAL MASSACRE 2000 TOUR. It will feature God Dethroned, Hate Eternal, and Diabolic.
-Anthrax- New album out on 23/11/99 : best of called Attack of the Killer A's. It includes a song featuring both John Bush and Joey Belladonna called Ball of Confusion. A tour will be announced soon with both singers.
-MetallicA- New album "S&M" will be released on 23/11/99. They have a few gigs left like Detroit on new years' eve then they're off for six months before doing a new album. Kirk said he wanted Dr. Dre to produce the next album.
-Black Sabbath- I've heard that The Last Supper video will be released on DVD december 7th. They are nominated again for the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame.There is talk about a Nativity in Black II featuring again MegadetH. Last chance to see them live, check out the last tour dates.
