S.O.D. 28/11/99, Montreal.- This gig was a bit special since I got to be on the guest list. I got this through the Concrete Street Team newsletter. There was a list of tour dates you could choose from. I chose Montreal since it was the closest. To get the free ticket you had to be the first of each date to send an e-mail. The only thing they demanded was that you had to give out Anthrax stickers at the gig. The guy from Concrete told me to meet some guy at the venue who would give me the stickers. So when I got there I went looking around for him. I found him just before S.O.D. went on stage. He told me to wait where I was. He never came back! Because of him I missed the first band and a good part of the second which was Skinlab, looking around for him. Crowbar was also supposed to be playing but cancelled. One cool thing for S.O.D fans was that Dan Lilker was hanging around the shirt booth during both bands, signing autographs, and talking to people. Just a down to earth guy who cares about his fans. So as I was waiting around for my damn fool to come back  the song We are the World started and everybody knew S.O.D. was about to start. The guys hit the stage and the crowd began to chant SOD SOD SOD! The band was surprised by the crowd response especially Scott.(judging from his face expression) Overall the sound was pretty good. I would say they played at least 10 songs which were under 2 minutes, including  a 6 song medley in 9 seconds. Don't ask me what the 6 songs were 'cause I couldn't make them out. At one time Billy told us that it was Charlie's birthday the day before so we all sang him happy birthday. Billy started making fun of him telling us he looked like Loverboys' singer and that he was a part of In'Sync which was pretty funny.  Highlights of the show were Kill Yourself, School Bus, Speak English or Die, Chromatic Death, and Milk. The encore was Pussywhipped which was greatly appreciated by us. The show was pretty good but Billy talked a little too much between songs. I'm not a big S.O.D. fan so I found the show lacked good longer songs. I'm much more an Anthrax fan and can't wait for them to tour, with JOEY!!!!!!!
