Everybody's All American

JASON BIGGS, CHRIS KLEIN, MENA SUVARI, TARA REID and SHANNON ELIZABETH may have become big stars as a result of appearing in 1999's smash teen sex comedy 'American Pie,' but there wasn't a bad apple in the bunch when it came time to cooperating for a sequel. 

The entire gang is back for another serving of sex and silliness in 'American Pie 2'. From EUGENE LEVY as Jason's dorky dad to SEANN WILLIAM SCOTT as the scene-stealing Stifler and JENNIFER COOLIDGE as Stifler's Mrs. Robinson of a mom, everyone who helped make the original so funny is back for more 'Pie.' 

It's the summer after freshman year of college and Jim (Biggs) and his buddies have taken up residence at a beach house on Lake Michigan. Now that everybody's fulfilled the group goal of losing their virginity, the boys assume it'll be a cakewalk from here on out to score more. But, as the first 'Pie' showed, nothing is too outlandish when a guy's trying to get lucky. EDDIE KAYE THOMAS, THOMAS IAN NICHOLAS and, of course, ALYSON HANNIGAN as the band-camp-obsessed Michelle, are also along for the ride as the kids begin the hilarious task of growing up.

The first 'Pie,' directed by PAUL WEITZ, was an instant classic for its raunchy depiction of the high-school dating scene (not to mention its eye-popping use of the apple as an aphrodisiac), breaking the $100-million box-office barrier. This time around, Weitz has turned the directing reins over to J.B. ROGERS ('Say It Isn't So'). But with original writer ADAM HERZ once again in charge of the screenplay, you can be sure that the R-rated 'American' spirit of the original will prevail. 

In other words, expect nudity.

"We all questioned whether this was something we wanted to do again," Biggs has admitted. "But the material is hilarious." And though much of the plot is being kept top secret, look out for a scene in which Biggs' hapless Jim has a rather unfortunate accident involving an X-rated film cassette and some Krazy Glue! Ouch!
