DurbDirt

Sometimes, a person's worst critics are their best advertisers, particularly if the gripes are groundless.

It shows that the accusers are focusing and paying attention to their target, instead of completely ignoring him as if he does not even exist.

Such is somewhat the case with Barack's critics, particularly those brave geniuses monologing and dialoging on conservative talk radio stations.

Durbin and Schumer foolishly want such condemnatory critics silenced with a backdoor Non-Fairness-Doctrine Anti-Conservative-Diversity Anti-Public-Interest Censorship Bill or Act forced through Congress.....clearly a non-Constitutional shenanigan to stifle and suppress free speech and freedom of the press.

As long as there is reasonable rationale for conservative talk-show hosts to harp on the questionable rulings and appointment of the President, Medved and Prager and Hewitt and Rush Limbaugh and many more such as Steve Ertelt of lifenews.com should be able to inform the public interest (which the thinking public would and do indeed find interesting) to expound on the issues involved:

Prov 12:16 The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent man ignores an insult.

Prov 11:14 Where there is no guidance, a people falls; but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.
Pr 24:6 for by wise guidance you can wage your war, and in abundance of counselors there is victory.
Pr 28:26 He who trusts in his own mind is a fool; but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered.

Jer 5:3 O LORD, do not thy eyes look for truth? Thou hast smitten them, but they felt no anguish; thou hast consumed them, but they refused to take correction. They have made their faces harder than rock; they have refused to repent.

Zep 3:2 She listens to no voice, she accepts no correction. She does not trust in the LORD, she does not draw near to her God.
Zep 3:7 I said, 'Surely she will fear me, she will accept correction; she will not lose sight of all that I have enjoined upon her.' But all the more they were eager to make all their deeds corrupt."

2Tim 3:16 All scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness

Admittedly, if then when the criticism turns into plots of physical (not merely political) assassination attempts, and the following verse applies:

Prov 10:18 He who conceals hatred has lying lips, and he who utters slander is a fool.

and then the Secret Service assuredly is ready to stop a traitor in his tracks before the lunatic can wreak havoc not merely on the Boss but also on the Whole Gang nationwide:

Exo 22:28 "You shall not revile God, nor curse a ruler of your people.

Pet 2:17 Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor.

Acts 23:4 Those who stood by said, "Would you revile God's high priest?"

Will Obama be patient with his God-ordained adversaries?:

Matt 5:11 "Blessed are you when men revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.
Luke 6:22 "Blessed are you when men hate you, and when they exclude you and revile you, and cast out your name as evil, on account of the Son of man!

1Pet 2:23 When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten; but he trusted to him who judges justly.
1Pet 3:16 and keep your conscience clear, so that, when you are abused, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.

Understandably, when President Obama legislates pro-abortion executive orders, and appoints racist and over-reactive, pro-abortion-choice women to his White House cabinet and retains feminist Pelosi as Speaker, there is obviously place and opportunity for well-founded critique and criticism against such murderous and anti-reproductive tyranny. How is he any better than McCain-Palin would have been?

So people find constructive debate not simply entertaining, but very useful for the cause of true and genuine justice:

Prov 14:12 There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.
Pr 16:25 There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.
Pr 18:17 He who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him.

In fact, the demeaning deviancy and diabolical motivation behind the restrictive statute that Durbin and cohorts want to impose against conservative talk-show hosts probably is related to such Scripture as:

Mic 2:6 "Do not preach" --thus they preach--"one should not preach of such things; disgrace will not overtake us."

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of men who by their wickedness suppress the truth.

2Tim 4:3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings,

1Thes 2:15 who killed both the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out, and displease God and oppose all men
2Tim 3:8 As Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men of corrupt mind and counterfeit faith;

Durbin, Schumer and their ilk are in fact wrongly disparaging and reviling the conservative talk-show hosts, which hosts Lord has designated to get His message out to the public interest, and thus show the "true" colors of Durbin and similar subversives:

2Pet 2:10 and especially those who indulge in the lust of defiling passion and despise authority. Bold and wilful, they are not afraid to revile the glorious ones,
Jude 1:8 Yet in like manner these men in their dreamings defile the flesh, reject authority, and revile the glorious ones.
Jude 1:10 But these men revile whatever they do not understand, and by those things that they know by instinct as irrational animals do, they are destroyed.

Getting back to king Obama, his response to criticism, and the conduct and intentions of his critics:

Prov 14:28 In a multitude of people is the glory of a king, but without people a prince is ruined.
Pr 14:35 A servant who deals wisely has the king's favor, but his wrath falls on one who acts shamefully.
Pr 16:10 Inspired decisions are on the lips of a king; his mouth does not sin in judgment.
Pr 16:13 Righteous lips are the delight of a king, and he loves him who speaks what is right.
Pr 16:14 A king's wrath is a messenger of death, and a wise man will appease it.
Pr 16:15 In the light of a king's face there is life, and his favor is like the clouds that bring the spring rain.
Pr 19:12 A king's wrath is like the growling of a lion, but his favor is like dew upon the grass.
Pr 20:2 The dread wrath of a king is like the growling of a lion; he who provokes him to anger forfeits his life.
Pr 20:8 A king who sits on the throne of judgment winnows all evil with his eyes.
Pr 20:26 A wise king winnows the wicked, and drives the wheel over them.
Pr 20:28 Loyalty and faithfulness preserve the king, and his throne is upheld by righteousness.
Pr 21:1 The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the LORD; he turns it wherever he will.
Pr 22:11 He who loves purity of heart, and whose speech is gracious, will have the king as his friend.
Pr 24:21 My son, fear the LORD and the king, and do not disobey either of them;

Eccl 4:13 Better is a poor and wise youth than an old and foolish king, who will no longer take advice,
Ec 5:9 But in all, a king is an advantage to a land with cultivated fields.
Ec 8:2 Keep the king's command, and because of your sacred oath be not dismayed;
Ec 8:4 For the word of the king is supreme, and who may say to him, "What are you doing?"
Ec 10:16 Woe to you, O land, when your king is a child, and your princes feast in the morning!
Ec 10:17 Happy are you, O land, when your king is the son of free men, and your princes feast at the proper time, for strength, and not for drunkenness!
Ec 10:20 Even in your thought, do not curse the king, nor in your bedchamber curse the rich; for a bird of the air will carry your voice, or some winged creature tell the matter.
