Recently, a particular synod of the Lutheran Church headquartered in the quad-state areas of Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois, has issued a Draft of a Social Statement pertaining to Human Sexuality.

Why synod leaders and associated clergy with congregants have done so is in response to the imposition of certain ecclesiasically-affiliated individuals of a homosexual immentality attempting to establish or maintain their religious authority as rostered clergy with all the reputational and financial benefits involved, which identifiable and anonymous individuals demand acceptance of same-gender blessings for cohabitational sodomy relationships and pseudo-"marriage" sexual unions.

In the process of responding to such homosexual harassment, synod authors of the Draft Statement have broadened the scope of their analysis of homosexuality alone into a dissertation of human-sexuality problems in general.

However, there has been heated and fervent criticism and derision against that divisive dissertation in that those strongly opposing and objecting to the semantics of the Human Sexuality Draft have accused Draft authors of conferring more importance and accomodation to fickle and constantly-changing culture of wayward inhabitants within surrounding interdependent neighborhoods and communities, misleading broadcast and printed media propaganda, along with falsely-"scientific" deviant human "education" and "knowledge" of purportedly-"expert" subversive educrats resulting in faulty and errant secular-government legislation and non-civil "civil"-court misrulings rife and reeking with adversive anti-patriarchal pro-feminist-sexist and even immorality and indecency-tolerating laws and statutes based upon questionable, impure, and polluted "contemporary community standards"......rather than "Scripture" of sometimes-non-defined manuscripts and non-specified translations containing particular verses suspiciously applied to concerns in question.

Is such an outlook "discriminatory" or "prejudicially bigoted and biased?"

Such is - in fact - tasteful discrimination!. Rightly so!

Understandably, any honestly-reflective and truly-representative Social Statement about Human Sexuality from a sectarian (though not necessarily "cultic") denomination of Christ's Church as a whole must of necessity be based upon The Bible with pertinent verses therein (which "Bible" is precisely known and available in the best of the King James Version and the Revised Standard Version and New American Standard Version of God's Word, synthesized from the inerrant ben-Ashur Masoretic Hebrew Text of the Old Testament as found in Biblia Hebraica edited by Rudolf Kittel, plus the inerrant Scrivener Trinitarian Greek Text of the New Testament (excluding corrupt discrepancies of the faulty Nestle, Westcott/Hort, UBS, and other spurious textual mis-concoctions such as the somewhat-Trinitarian text edited by Gene Ricker Berry, who laughably but diabolically inserted his own non-authorized Greek-text verse at the end of his interlinear mis-translation of the book of Romans, giving authorship of the book of Romans to Phoebe, which Phoebe is instead simply mentioned as a deaconess in Romans 16:1).

The entire Christian church - comprised of the best of Catholics, Anglicans, Episcopalians, Methodists, Presbyterians, Covenant, Baptist, Assemblies of God, Evangelical Free, Lutherans, Mormons? and many others - all agree that atonement against sins is not done by one's faith, works, obedience, disobedience, or any other human initiative, merit, achievement, disgrace, or action. Christ (i.e. Jesus only!) is our Perfect Sacrificial Atonement....and Christ HIMSELF alone. Grace gifts from the Father of lights such as our frequently-dependable faith and our sometimes-reliable works are our given mechanisms of positive response to what Christ has done for us and what we nor any other entity in existence could do for us relating to salvation by - again - Christ alone! - not OUR frequently-faltering faith alone nor works. Such are not only revealed in the Creator's benign but sovereign and immovable natural phenomena, but especially in His non-alterable Word.

Applying Scripture to the issues of [aberrant] same-gender cohabitation-sodomy cravings, covert or overt relationships of such, and consequential fake-"marriage" unions of those so sexually oriented, a quick but quite legitimate reference to the following Scripture immediately sets the Divine Standard:

Le 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.
Le 20:13 If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall be put to death, their blood is upon them.
Ro 1:26 For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural,
Ro 1:27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in their own persons the due penalty for their error.
1Co 6:9 Do you not know that the non-righteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate [Gr. malakoi], nor sodomites [Gr. arsenokoitai],
1Co 6:10 nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Clearly, what is "natural" according to the inference of the above Scripture references is heterosexual erotic relationships, and the ACTUAL-Text words effeminate and sodomites of First Corinthians chapter 6 relating to gender distinction and to healthy/wholesome relationships of the opposite sex (NOT same sex). Concordantly, a despicable desire to cross-dress in other-gender clothing as a deplorable transvestite is likewise forbidden by the verse:

De 22:5 "A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman's garment; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.

especially by those who are voluntarily pierced or have themselves defaced with engrained bodily graffiti in defiance against:

Le 19:28 You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh on account of the dead or tattoo any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

A thorough and exhaustive study of the entire Old and New Testaments of The HOLY BIBLE never mentions nor makes any allowance for acceptable homosexual unions of humans. Indeed, the fiery destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (mentioned in Genesis 18, 19, 29; Isaiah 1 and 13; Jeremiah 23 and 49 and 50; Amos 4 and Zephaniah 2; Luke 17; II Peter 2; and Jude 1) was the direct, by-no-human-hand, Creator-God, historically-documented punishment against the homoperverts of such geographical localities on planet Earth.

A satanic misunderstanding (by certain sometimes-subtle but flagrant fierce-wolf people who have snuck into God's flock to defile them) against (and not of) the true and actual nature of GENUINE Christian love (contrasted with lust).....of AUTHENTIC godly and justifiable patience and tolerance and forgiveness (contrasted with cowardly lenience or men-pleaser men-fearing indifference to required justice and righteousness).....and of the SACRED never-ending non-abrogation of the Law which Jesus Himself never abolished but rather promised to enforce every jot and tittle......has confused some relating to proper response to trouble-causers entering and within the Church.

In stark contrast to demonically-heretical calls for "welcoming forgiveness" and "non-judgmental, non-biased and non-bigoted, unconditional love" pertaining to impenitent homoperverts entering or within the Church, obvious response to petitioners for same-gender clergy for continuing rostership and for same-sexual cohabitational-sodomy-union blessings is therefore:

1Co 5:11 But rather I wrote to you not to associate with any one who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or robber - not even to eat with such a one.
1Co 5:12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge?
1Co 5:13 God judges those outside. "Drive out the wicked person from among you."
1Ti 5:20 As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear.
2Ti 4:2 preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, convince, rebuke, and exhort, be unfailing in patience and in teaching.
Tit 1:13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith....

Besides downright arrogant defiance and rebellion against God's natural heterosexual order for human sexuality with all the reproductive and familial ramifications, the dominant/submissive lurid and lewd replacement of obedient heterosexual intentions and desires with belligerant homosexual substitution is in part due to an intrinsically-related depraved drive to allow and impose feminist-sexist insubordination against modern society so contrary to the implications and directives of:

Le 27:2 "Say to the people of Israel, When a man makes a special vow of persons to the LORD at your valuation,
Le 27:3 then your valuation of a male from twenty years old up to sixty years old shall be fifty shekels of silver, according to the shekel of the sanctuary.
Le 27:4 If the person is a female, your valuation shall be thirty shekels.
Le 27:5 If the person is from five years old up to twenty years old, your valuation shall be for a male twenty shekels, and for a female ten shekels.
Le 27:6 If the person is from a month old up to five years old, your valuation shall be for a male five shekels of silver, and for a female your valuation shall be three shekels of silver.
Le 27:7 And if the person is sixty years old and upward, then your valuation for a male shall be fifteen shekels, and for a female ten shekels.

Nu 30:12 But if her husband makes them null and void on the day that he hears them, then whatever proceeds out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning her pledge of herself, shall not stand: her husband has made them void, and the LORD will forgive her.
Nu 30:13 Any vow and any binding oath to afflict herself, her husband may establish, or her husband may make void.
Nu 30:14 But if her husband says nothing to her from day to day, then he establishes all her vows, or all her pledges, that are upon her; he has established them, because he said nothing to her on the day that he heard of them.

Ec 7:28 which my mind has sought repeatedly, but I have not found. One man among a thousand I found, but a woman among all these I have not found.

Isa 3:12 My people--children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, your leaders mislead you, and confuse the course of your paths.

Na 3:13 Behold, your troops are women in your midst. The gates of your land are wide open to your foes; fire has devoured your bars.

1Co 11:7 For a man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but woman is the glory of man.
1Co 11:8 (For man was not made from woman, but woman from man.
1Co 11:9 Neither was man created for woman, but woman for man.)
1Co 11:10 (paraphrase) That is why a woman ought to have a [non-mopheaded] veil on her head, because of the angels.
1Co 11:16 (paraphrase) If any one intends to be contentious, we recognize no such (not other) custom [of allowing a woman to regard loose long hair as equivalent to or a substitute for a prayer-covering veil], nor do the churches of God.

1Co 14:34 the women should keep silence in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be subordinate, as even the law says.

Eph 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.

I Ti 2:8 I desire then that in every place the men should pray, lifting holy hands without anger or quarreling;
9 (paraphrase) also that women should adorn themselves modestly and sensibly in decent apparel, not with [loose long hair contrary to RSV's Numbers 5:18 and RSV's Song of Solomon 7:5, naked-armed sleeveslessness violating RSV's II Samuel 13:18, nude legs exposed by shortened skirts or shorts against RSV's Isaiah 47:1-4, nor being socksless or barefoot in both-gender general public view, indifferent to RSV's Jeremiah 2:25 in context]
10 but by good deeds, as befits women who profess religion.
11 Let a woman learn in silence with all submissiveness.
12 I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over men; she is to keep silent.
13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve;
14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.
15 Yet woman will be saved through bearing children, if she continues in faith and love and holiness, with modesty.

1Pe 3:7 Likewise you husbands, live considerately with your wives, bestowing honor on the woman as the weaker sex, since you are joint heirs of the grace of life, in order that your prayers may not be hindered.

[At this time it is beneficial to the reader to quote some of the pro-modesty references alluded to above relating to how Scripture defines expedient and particularly seasonal-warmth non-public-nuisance/non-indecent-exposure public modesty, reminiscent of islamic-fundamentalist hijab apparal of modern moslem women, of old-order Catholic nuns, of old-order Amish, Russian and Chinese peasant laborers, of American pilgrim Puritans, and even of our great-great-great-great-great pioneer grandmothers in our own geneology. Keep in mind that generic, for-all-ages, sex-education language should only get as explicit and graphic as the very words of The Bible itself get, especially in Ezekiel chapters 16 and 23:

RSV's Nu 5:18 And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and unbind the hair of the woman's head, and place in her hands the cereal offering of remembrance, which is the cereal offering of jealousy. And in his hand the priest shall have the water of bitterness that brings the curse.

RSV's So 7:5 Your head crowns you like Carmel, and your flowing locks (not hair like the KJV and such wrongly state!) are like purple; a king is held captive in the tresses.

NASV's & RSV's 2Sa 13:18 Now she was wearing a full-length long-sleeved (not multi-colored as the KJV and such wrongly state!) robe; for thus were the virgin daughters of the king traditionally clad.....

RSV's Isa 3:17 the Lord will smite with a scab the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will lay bare their secret parts. (not foreheads bare as the NASV wrongly states!)

RSV's Isa 20:2 at that time the LORD had spoken by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, "Go, and loose the sackcloth from your loins and take off your shoes from your feet," and he had done so, walking naked and barefoot--
Isa 20:3 the LORD said, "As my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot for three years as a sign and a portent against Egypt and Ethiopia,
Isa 20:4 so shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians captives and the Ethiopians exiles, both the young and the old, naked and barefoot, with buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

RSV's Isa 47:1 Come down and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon; sit on the ground without a throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans! For you shall no more be called tender and delicate.
Isa 47:2 Take the millstones and grind meal, put off your veil, strip off your robe, uncover your legs, pass through the rivers.
Isa 47:3 Your nakedness shall be uncovered, and your shame shall be seen. I will take vengeance, and I will spare no man.

So 7:1 How graceful are your footsteps (not feet) in sandals, O royal maiden! Your rounded thighs are like jewels, the work of a master hand.

RSV's Jer 2:25 Keep your feet from going unshod and your throat from thirst. But you said, 'It is hopeless, for I have loved strangers, and after them I will go.'

Regarding (not "concerning") non-equality and even anti-equality Scripture verses above, our present culture is horrendously burdened by in-charge weaker-sex inferior gender, with their moody and illogical menstrual confusion, almost-terroristically forcing themselves onto everyone in general and allowed to do so by pathetically-patsy momma's-boy excuses for men. Female clergy, cops, newscasters and newsreporters, lawyerettes, cashiers, mis-typists, and so forth lord it over quite-capable males to the non-erotic overly-erotic harassment, irritation, and degradation against society overall. Such was thankfully not so in America's early pioneer history, and can be restored with enough persistent pressure and congenial non-hateful cooperation.

Multiple-husband polygamy of women (during marriage and thus termed bigamy and adultery) or non-marital fornicating with non-married/other-married significant others.....not to mention same-gender lesbian sodomy and masturbational self-sodomy.....is clearly forbidden by the verse:

Ro 7:3 Accordingly, she will be called an adulteress if she belongs to another man while her husband is alive. But if her husband dies she is free from that law, and if she becomes another man's she is not an adulteress.

The currently-propagated sloganeering buzzword phrase: "....one man with ONE woman" not merely expresses preference for heterosexual unions only, but (at best) indicates a disdain against homosodomy and wife-swapping fornicative/adulterative orgies. At worst, the buzzword phrase is a godless and non-substantiational suppression against Biblically-allowed and Scripturally-acceptable harem polygamy (the latter of which was the never-God-condemned case with multiple-wife/maid/concubines Lamech, Abraham, Jacob, Gideon, Elkanah, David, Solomon, Ashhur, Rehoboam, Abijah, Hosea, et cetera).

It is not stated in Scripture whether there were wedding ceremonies for each wife, maid, or concubine.....whether or not any or all wore gold marriage-band rings on the 4th fingers of their left hands.....or whether any of them filed for marriage-license certificates with Canaanite, Babylonian, or Chaldean city or state or federal governments of their times. It seems improbable that Jewish couples filed for marriage licenses with the polytheistic and despised Roman government when Jesus lived in Israel.

Pertaining to no-premarital-interrogation "counseling" polygamy.....but in NO way paid or non-paid prostitution or harlotry:

De 21:15 "If a man has two wives, the one loved and the other disliked, and they have borne him children, both the loved and the disliked, and if the first-born son is hers who is disliked,
16 then on the day when he assigns his possessions as an inheritance to his sons, he may not treat the son of the loved as the first-born in preference to the son of the disliked, who is the first-born,
17 but he shall acknowledge the first-born, the son of the disliked, by giving him a double portion of all that he has, for he is the first issue of his strength; the right of the first-born is his.

1Ti 3:2 Now a bishop must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, sensible, dignified, hospitable, an apt teacher,
1Ti 3:12 Let deacons be the husband of one wife, and let them manage their children and their households well;
Tit 1:6 .....if any man is blameless, the husband of one wife, and his children are believers and not open to the charge of being profligate or insubordinate.

Whether State-licensed/certified "legal" marriage.....or instead mutually-consentual permanent common-law cohabitational marriage agreement (outside of the jurisdiction of anti-patriarchal Equal Rights and Equal Opportunity State laws, social-workers, and divorce courts):

Heb 13:4 Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled; for God will judge the immoral and adulterous.

Even without laying together in bed (clothed or not), immorality of the following types within a bedroom, apartment room, office or wherever inside or outside is not to be done outside of wedded or non-wedded matrimony:

De 25:11 "When men fight with one another, and the wife of the one draws near to rescue her husband from the hand of him who is beating him, and puts out her hand and seizes him by the private parts,
De 25:12 then you shall cut off her hand; your eye shall have no pity.

2Sa 11:2 It happened, late one afternoon, when David arose from his couch and was walking upon the roof of the king's house, that he saw from the roof a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful.

Pr 7:13 She seizes him and kisses him, and with impudent face she [solicits] him:

So 2:6 O that his left hand were under my head, and that his right hand embraced me!
So 8:3 O that his left hand were under my head, and that his right hand embraced me!
Eze 16:25 at the head of every street you built your lofty place and prostituted your beauty, spreading your legs to any passer-by, and multiplying your harlotry.

Eze 23:21 Thus you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when the Egyptians handled your bosom and pressed your young breasts."

Mt 5:28 But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Mt 5:29 If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell.
Mt 5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away; it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

1Co 7:1 Now concerning the matters about which you wrote. It is well for a man not to touch (not marry as the NIV wrongly states!) a woman.

Non-wanted duressed sexual confrontations and connections of whatever bodily parts with whatever other bodily parts, abhorred by many indignant lustfully-abused feminists, is disallowed by the following Scripture:

Ge 24:58 And they called Rebekah, and said to her, "Will you go with this man?" She said, "I will go."

1Th 4:1-5
1 Finally, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that as you learned from us how you ought to live and to please God, just as you are doing, you do so more and more.
2 For you know what instructions we gave you through the Lord Jesus.
3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from unchastity;
4 that each one of you know how to take a wife for himself in holiness and honor,
5 not in the passion of lust like heathen who do not know God;
6 that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as we solemnly forewarned you.
7 For God has not called us for uncleanness, but in holiness.
8 Therefore whoever disregards this, disregards not man but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.

Phm 1:14 but I preferred to do nothing without your consent in order that your goodness might not be by compulsion but of your own free will.

Rather than sadistic and non-realistic perpetual abstinence pertaining to public, private, charter, and parochial-school sex education, preparation and planning for near-future marriage should take precedence over disasterous postponement for pompous-ambition career pursuits causing typical normal people to stumble into occasional or frequent lapses of regrettable fornication or sodomy affairs, in light of the following Scriptural directives:

1Ti 5:11 But refuse to enrol younger-women widows [Gr. ne(o)teras ch(e)ras]; for when they grow wanton against Christ they desire to marry,
1Ti 5:12 and so they incur condemnation for having violated their first pledge.

1Ti 5:14 So I would have younger women [Gr. ne(o)teras] marry, bear children, manage their households, and give the enemy no cause to revile us.

When Saint Paul stated that younger women should marry, he did not mean they should officiate weddings nor marriages, but instead meant: become married. Similarly, Jesus did not infer that physical death of a person automatically divorces spouses from thence on. Notice carefully His response to Sadducees asking about the heavenly marital status of a sequentially-seven-husbanded childless woman:

Mt 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

Mr 12:25 For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.

Lu 20:35 but those who are accounted worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage....,

Again, the exact word "marry" means get married. Marriage is in fact eternally permanent. It thus behooves a man and a woman to choose their everlasting partner wisely, per:

2Co 6:14 Do not be mismated with unbelievers. For what partnership have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?

In conclusion, the entire gamut of human sexuality, whether heterosexual or homosexual - and intricate elaboration on every conceivable aspect of such - is not possible nor practical in this short Social Statement. Moreover, to the extent which the author of this Social Statement is personally qualified to be a human-sexuality spokesman for the entire Christian Church determines its limited value and contemporary application to Christ's Body at large. It is certainly not to be taken as a replacement for the entirety of the canonical Sacred-Sixty-Six books of Holy Writ and Divine Guidance corresponding to such.
