Two greens and a blue emerged from their shells and approached the Candidates warily. The greens chose partners standing side by side, Naytela and Ceskona. Naytela spoke, wide-eyed, to the green. "Sanabath.. my own!!" Ceskona just whispered to her green Epipath soothing, loving nothings. The blue was Impressed by a boy with two strangely colored firelizards, Jamal. The firelizards and Jamal all greeted Blue Renoth. Two browns came from their shells and shimmered with hatching fluid in the sun. One brown walked amiably down the Sands until he reached Joelen. I am Lanth... I'm your dragon, said the slow-moving, well-coordinated Lanth. The other brown dashed like lightning to Rhyosmede. The brown hit Rhyosmede and almost knocked him over. Rhyosmede burst out laughing. "Taoranith, you should be glad I'm used to heat from making those runner shoes!"
J'mal and Renoth were outside, on the sunning ledge. J'mal was carving a picture of Renoth, and his strange firelizards. He was surprised the firelizards had welcomed Renoth, since J'mal seemd to never take care of them. Renoth was asleep. Suddenly a bugle from a dragon in the Weyrbowl below woke Renoth up. He must of had a pretty good dream.
J'mal! I had the greatest dream! You and I were flying and soaring threw the clouds, every once in a while we'd go between! Then, Thread came and you and I were burnign it to ashes! It was so great, and if it won't for that dumb dragon down there, we'd still be flying together! And I was alot bigger, and I was, huge1 Not as big as a Queen,Bronze, or Brown. But I was big for a blue, about the size of a small brown!
Renoth, it will be awhile before we go flying this morning.
Renoth gobbled up the food. Renoth's eye lids start to droop. So J'mal leaves Renoth alone and goes to sleep in his weyr for a bit...
A few hours later, J'mal awakens to a large snout poking at his face. He finaly opens his eyes looking into Renoth's eyes. They whirl a happy blue-green since J'mal has awakened.
You're up finally! I've been trying to wake you for the past 15 minutes, I'm starving! Also, Shaerli came by with Green Cristeth, they were asking fi you wanted ot go down to the lakw, but since you were sleeping I told them maybe later.
WHAT!? You know I really like Shaerli, you've of woken me up!
J'mal threw his clothes on adn went to the kitcehn, Renoth following him silently behind him. After Renoth was full, they went down to the lake, where Shaerli was sitting watching hergreen swim. She turned around and saw Renotha dn J;mal. Renoth went into the lake, and J'mal sat down next to Shaerli.
J'aml! Shaerli likes you! She says your cute, and wants you to kiss her.
Cristeth!? I thought that you could only talk to your rider!
Nope. I can talk to anyone I want, when I want.
Oh.
For the first time, J'mal realized that Shaerli would proberly end up being his mate. They both were made for each other. J'mal gazed into Shaerli's bright eyes. They leaned forward to each other, and kissed.
"J'mal, why don't we get married?" Shaerli asked.
"Shaerli,we should, you green will fly soon, and I bet Renoth will catch her," replied J'mal.
"Oh, yes," Shaerli replied.
Shaerli wiped the the tears of joy away, and went to Cristeth, which J'mal was noticing was glowing a little brighter. She came back over and kissed him again, and went to her weyr.
Cristeth will fly soon, and I will catch her!
You know, I bet you do.
Renoth started out fo the water. J'mal started to clean Renoth, and afterward they went back to thier weyr. It had grown dark, and Renoth layed down on his dragonbed. J'mal went to sleep on his bed.

Halloween came from Sapphire Weyr. BooBoo and Renoth were both impressed at Talor Cliff Weyr. BooBoo was impressed at the Gathering at Gantek Hold.
