More about Tom and Bonnie
On February 10, 2004 we will celebrate our 20th anniversary.  We have raised 6 children together.  Their current ages are 40, 37, 36, 35, 35, 31.  We have 9 grandchildren ranging in age from 16 to 4.  They are all delightful and we love and enjoy our family very much.

We worked very hard from the time we met to blend our families and build a loving home.  All the children also worked very hard to make it work.  Now we have great get togethers.  When everyone attends we have 21 people.

Tom retired in 1999 and Bonnie retired in 2000. Our first after retirement adventure was to hike 850 miles of the Appalachian Trail.  We did this from March through August 2000.

We came home in August to care for our granddaughter Zoe.  Zoe was born 3 months early and weighed only 1 lb 13 oz.  She was 1 month old when we left and we kept in close contact with her Mom to make sure she was doing okay.  Mom had to go back to work and Zoe needed special care.  We felt very fortunate that we had already retired and were able to help.
For the next 18 months (delightful ones) we kept Zoe during the day.  Because Zoe has cerebral palsy, she had therapists vist 4 times a week.  The therapist taught us exercises and play that would help Zoe develop to her fullest potential.  Zoe will be 4 in February and is doing great.  She wears braces on her legs and still gets a lot of therapy but she goes to pre-school and does quite well.  She is very bright and delights the entire family with her imaginative spirit.

Although in 2000 and 2001 we spent lots of time with Zoe, we have eight other grandchildren who are very special to us.

Terry is our oldest grandson and he will be 17 in August 2004.  It is hard to believe he is that old.  He enjoys playing soccer, traveling and spending time with his friends.

Steven is the next in line and he will be 15 in August 2004. He likes all sports but his favorites are Basketball and Baseball.

Ricky is 13!  I can't believe he is a teen-ager.  He enjoys being class president, riding motorcycles, playing soccer and football.

Allison is going to be 12 in June.  She is an all-around girl.  She likes all sports and played football with the boys team at Frankton this year.

Justin just turned 11.  He is a good reader and likes to play soccer and race his motorcycle.

Jackie will be 10 in June.  She likes soccer, music and playing with her sister Zoe.

Lucy (Hannah) is 9.  She is all girl. She loves to dress up, wear pretty jewelry and glitter everywhere.  She is also a great cheerleader.

Jackson will be 8 in August. (We have lots of birthdays in August)  He is a big hockey player.  He rides motorcycles but hasn't raced them yet.
