Consists of 2 types : Original bread and Omega Smell-Enhanced bread.
Original bread - Edible bread you buy in the market.
Smell-Enhanced bread - These are special bread made for fishing the Giant Mekong Catfish. You can purchased these bread directly from the fishing park itself or any tackle shop. Brands like this includes Super Jake, Omega and etc. They have 4 flavours : banana, vanilla, strawberry and pandan. You can see by their color.
2. Fruits Bait
These are all self-mixed bait. You have to choose your correct fruits to mix so it will produce extreme strong smell that will lasts for at least 5-10mins in the water. They include : Raisins, Bananas, Mangoes, Grapes, Apricot, Pineapples, Durian, Corn/Maize, Jackfruit and Papaya. All these fruits listed here are to be mixed with ONLY Original bread that does not have any smell.
3. Milk Bait
These are all self-mixed bait. They include : Coconut, Chocolate, Creamy Cakes, Eggs, Milk Powder, Jam, Butter, Cocoa, Coffee, Cheese, Condensed Milk. They are also to be mixed ONLY with Original bread that does not have any smell.
4. Powdered Bait
These are specially made bait for fishing the Giant Mekong Catfish. You can purchased these bait directly from the fishing park itself or any tackle shop. Brands like this includes Super Jake, Omega and etc. Basically, they do smell like cheese but in a very powdery form. They are all brownish in color and comes in packet form - Omega 1,2 and 3. Careful mixing is required for this mixers. You can mixed them with Smell-Enhanced bread like Omega Banana, Vanilla, Starwberry or Pandan flavours. Their purpose is actually to lure fishes by dissolving it's powder when it actually lands into the water.
5. Flour Bait
These are also self-mixing bait. They include - Noodles flour, Tapioca flour, Yam flour and Rice flour. You have to mixed them until they become a dough. You can choose Original or Smell-Enhanced bread to mix with.
Please Note : All Self-Mixed baits are to be kept in tank for at least 7 days prior to fishing to have best results
This bait is good during the weekdays but not during competition days.
2. Omega Powder No.1,2 and 3 with Omega Bread
This mixing is good for game competition and leisure fishing. But like I said, Careful mixing is required.
3. Omega Pandan bread and Phurich Pandan Oil
Over-mixing by me causes the bait to produce extreme strong pandan smell. This in turn causes the fishes to be afraid of biting the bait as the fishes are also wary of the smell. This bait proves to be successful during non-competiton days.
4. Omega Vanilla bread and Phurich Amyl-Acetate Flavour
For me, this mixing is no good even during non-competition days. Not even a fish caught during 2 hours of fishing..
5. Omega Banana bread and Omega Powder Mixer No.3
This is the average bait that an angler will use. Instant mixing can be done during competition days. Don't have to keep for days to enhanced the smell as the Omega Mixer No.3 already has the cheezy smell.
