He moves like an angel

He glides down center
His hand extended and sways

I'm swept up in his magic
The music bouquet

I extend my hand
Hoping to embrace; not only the man

I wrapped up in his presence
His music like a cloak
I revel in his closeness
His spell surrounding me like smoke

And at the precise moment
Of a possible embrace
The lights go dim
And his voices fades

But every time I want to trip
To remember all of his greatest gifts
I simply close my eyes and press play
And my dreams of Eddie never fade away
