This section of our web site records the all crew reunions that have been conducted or are being planned. Photos and captions can be contributed by any crew member.
This was our first reunion. It was conducted in San Angelo, the county seat of Tom Green county in Texas.
This reunion was conducted in Portland Oregon and highlighted a visit to an LST of the same class as the Tom Green County. Lots of photos of the LST 1166 visit have been contributed. A few photos of the banquet have also been contributed. No photos of the business meeting have been contributed as yet. Your contributions will be appreciated by your shipmates.
The 2003 Reunion has been conducted in Portland, Maine. The Mag 7 has taken on the responsibility of coordinating this reunion. They have used a new approach. The group is collectively responsible with no single coordinator being named.

The 2004 Reunion has been conducted at San Diego, CA. Planning and coordination was headed up by Eugene Watkins from the first cruise. The 2005 reunion was conducted at the Orleans Hotel in Las Vegas. A great time was had by all. Las Vegas never closed but most of us gave up at a reasonable hour. The stamina of the old days just wasn't there anymore.
Some initial information has been submitted for your review by Marlene and Leon Levin, the 2005 reunion coordinators. Over the next several weeks more information will be submitted. Check back occassionally

Based on the results of the 2005 Business Meeting discussion and vote Las Vegas is the designated location for the LST 1159 2006 Reunion. Marlene Levin at this time volunteered to host it once again.

This section of our web site records gatherings of crew members of a single cruise. They are planned and organized independently of the all crew reunions. Photos and articles can be contributed by any attendee.

This section of our web site records meetings of two or more crew members that have become reconnected by arranging a dinner together, visits to each others homes, spending a weekend together, and other informal meetings of this type. Photos and stories can be contributed by any attendees.
During the first reunion conducted durng 2002 the attending crew voted to establish an association of crew members and to elect crewmembers of each cruise to represent them in the completion of the work required to get the association formed and documented. This page summarizes the work completed during 2002.
