SYNOPSIS:
Letty Lynton leaves her lover Emile Renaul in South America. Aboard ship to the U.S. she meets and falls in love with Jerry Darrow. When a blackmailing Renaul is there to meet her in New York, Letty accidentally kills him with poison she intended for herself. Letty must then deal with the consequences of her actions (with the help of Jerry) when police suspicion is directed towards her. Interesting drama with Crawford's Adrian gowns a standout attraction.
