Synopsis:
College students Biff and Eddie are the best of friends until they both fall for the same girl. Their battle for the affection of Babs effects not only their friendship but their chances for a victory on the football field. This lightweight early talkie has a thin plot, lots of silliness and a few musical numbers thrown in (usually featuring Cliff "Ukele Ike" Edwards.) Although Three Live Ghosts was released first, this was Montgomery's first film. Be sure to keep an eye out for young Joel McCrea who has a small, uncredited role.
