Another blissful morning at Brindavan! The campus was full, there were people people everywhere. The space below was full by 7AM. There was silence all over. Eager anticipation. All the decorations of last week were removed. Nevertheless there was a festive touch to the morning. As Darshan get a little rare, it is beginning to pinch! We had a long
and patient wait today as well. As it was past 8AM, there was some uncertainty in our minds, "will HE not come today?".

Music floated in the air at 8:20AM and there were claps from devotees, expressing their happiness at the prospect of the Divine Darshan. It soon gave way to OMKAR and Bhajan. Swami came in the golf cart, got down in the front row and walked. HE must have walked a good distance. We were sitting down near the Saraswathi idol. So we could not see HIM till HE reached the edge of the hall. It was taking long and we surmised HE might be walking some more distance.

Slowly, the cart drove and Swami arrived at the edge. Today as well, HE got down and blessed us turning to every corner. Then HE looked at all of us. So happy HE was! Every time Swami raised HIS hand in blessing, there were claps!! We didn't know of any other way to express our happiness at seeing HIM. It was bliss, bliss and bliss all the way. It can't be otherwise with Baba. The Loving Lord stood for some good time and then got into the cart at the insistence of all those near HIM. HE waved HIS hand from the cart. I don't have words to describe that sweet feeling. Suffice it to say HE poured bliss on us. The cart drove to the far side of the hall through the second aisle on the gents' side. Baba got down and got on to the stage. HE listened to two Bhajans sitting there before getting up and Aarati was performed. Baba got down from the stage and got in to the cart. Usually, by the time we sing "Narayana, Narayana ...." in Aarati, Swami is out of the Hall, but today HE was here till "Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu". And then the announcement came. Swami has said there will be special meeting at the SR Hall at 8AM on Saturday, 5th July. I think Swami
will bless us with HIS divine discourse. Swami is likely to leave on 6th July for Parthi. However, do take it with a dose of uncertainty!! Can't wait for 5th July to have Swami’s Darshan and possibly listen to HIM.

And now the most important thing. Today Swami was walking on HIS own and briskly. HIS physical frame is getting better. Let us pray even more intensely.

Swami gave Darshan to public this morning in Sai Ramesh Hall at Brindavan (Whitefield). The following is an account from a devotee:

Swami gave public Darshan today after 4th June last. Bhagwan came out around 7:30 in the golf car to Sai Ramesh hall amidst bhajans being sung by sevadal members. Sorry I can't give eye witness account as students & staff were sitting in Kalyan Mantapam waiting for HIM. Swami walked in the Ramesh hall with the help of Satyajit. Went around blessing all. Then HE came in the car to Kalyan Mantapam. He was just the same as we have known HIM all along , only HE had to take Support from Satyajit while walking. Except that it was all the same benevolent smiles, slow circular movements of HIS hand and the ever rising palm in divine blessings. I am sure it was the same condition of every heart as my own, rejoicing, laughing, singing, dancing, praying all at the same time. Then HE sat for the drama presented by US balvikas children for about 40 minutes. Watching HIM from behind I wondered was this day blessed? It felt just the same as We are used to , Our Swami among us as always, watching yet another offering of love. It was as if nothing unusual has happened. Just the continuity of the old care free life. After Drama HE created a reminder of HIS presence for a fortunate child among them & returned to Trayee in the car.

Bhagwan is now much healthier and can walk better.

Swami granted interview to all old students of SSIHL. The following is a narration from one of the old students:

Trayee Brindavan
26-06-03

At 1:30 pm the old students doing service activities in B?lore and just passed students along with waiting boys were asked by Bhagawan to join him for snacks (Tiffin) at Trayee Brindavan

Swami came down from his room at 1:45pm and told all of us seated in the Round hall along with Vice chancellor, Mr. Chakravarthy, C.Srinivas, Chennai Srinivas and other VIP?s to form 2 circles, one small and one big , so that it becomes easier to serve food and also have it.

The food served was more like any lunch session rather than a snack or Tiffin, Swami instructed us to chant ?Brahma Arpanam?, while all of us were having food like any mother does Swami was watching each and everyone having their food. After the food session at 2:30 pm Swami said ?Go and sit in the Hall (Jhoola Room) I will speak to you.

Swami during his Speech touched and stressed on Gratitude to Parents and Humility. Swami narrated an incident in Ramayana, saying never aspire for authority as it will make you suppress the innocent and make you commit more sins.

Swami said never care for your body, ?you should not be a slave of your body, the body should be your slave ?. Don?t waste time sitting at home, even if you are without jobs help your mother in the house or your father .Never never waste time. When ever you get time do some service activity to the needy and poor by taking the help of others .Swami also stressed on self-confidence by narrating incidents from the life of Abraham Lincoln.

Swami speaking about himself said ?This body is pure from Top to Toe as I can tell you I have done only good to every one right from my childhood, therefore every part of my body is pure. The age of this body is 78, due to the incident the hip had broken and bone had become into pieces, because of age it cannot become normal without operation. Gone is gone so removed it, what was happened has happened for our good and this is a good experience for you all too. The bones were removed and steel rods were inserted .Swami said, before entering the operation theatre I told to doctors ?This is not my body, do what ever you want to do with it?. After 3 hrs of operation, Swami Came out smiling and everyone around were surprised. Swami told us smiling when you are in pain is Greatness; the pain is only for the body. Swami said ?I am divinity in Humanity? if I express my pain I m like any human.

The most touching words of Swami were ?This Body has come for you all and it is your Responsibility to take care of this Body?

Swami narrating about his left eye said ?I dry my hair with electric hair dryer, 7 years back, while doing this power went off and power came suddenly at that time the dryer was near my left eye and due to the electric shock, the eye had burnt and I could not see. C.srinivas at that time itself requested me for an operation, but I rejected it, Swami also said it was my mistake of keeping dryer near my eye. Now during operating my hip the eye operation too was performed in 2 mins and the doctors saw the lens it had turned like a dark charcoal, ?due to the operation now I am able to see you all and derive happiness.

Swami then told Mr. Sundareshan, the orthopedic Surgeon who had performed the operation to Bhagawan to speak to us on the incident.

Mr. sundereshan said ? Swami had broken his hip and stayed like that for 18 hrs ,which is not possible for any human being to resist ? Swami had started walking after 5 days of the operation which is also impossible for any human being. As Swami said ? This body is yours and it is our responsibility to take care of this body, we should pray that he takes rest

At 3:30 pm aarathi was given and Swami left the hall blessing all of us.

OM SRI SAI RAM

It is impossible to convey to you the fullness of joy of this morning's Darshan. The Sai Ramesh Hall was perfectly organized to receive Swami for the first time after 22 days, and there was an air of deep happiness and expectancy as we sat there awaiting the beginning of the OMs and Bhajans which would herald His arrival.

In the hall, bedecked with small flags, the floral decorations on the dais vied with any festival in their plentiful display of great beauty, really befitting this auspicious occasion, but three weeks exactly from the day of Swami's major operation on His hip and eye operation performed the same day. There was no carpet and the aisles were wide enough for the small electric car to drive along carrying it's Beloved Passenger for all to see.

Many people had gone to the Kalyana Mandap where the American group was to give a performance this morning, this also meant less pressure on the available space in the Sai Ramesh Hall. Swami would go there after Darshan.

At last the music began and the OMs resounded with real feeling and enthusiasm even more than usual, before the first Bhajan began. Soon the little elactric car came in sight with our radiant BHAGAVAN sitting beside the elderly driver and with Dr Sundaresh walking behind. Dr Padmanaban was close at hand and the other attendant who usually follows Swami when he
collects so many letters. There were also the policemen and one other younger man, whom I didn't recognize, perhaps a doctor.

The buggy came to the entrance and drove just inside, We all expected it to continue, but no, Swami made them stop, and small platform was put down for Him - out He stepped, supported by the young man (Dr.?), who took Swami's right hand. Swami began to walk forward as He usually does between the first and second blocks of women, holding the protective hand. He bent to speak to some women on the other side, just in He accustomed way, He looked SO BEAUTIFUL, a little frail and even thinner than usual but His eyes were so bright, and it was good to know that He could see clearly with both of them.

I was third row in the hospital block and Swami walked slowly past us, hesitating now and then to let go the right hand to give Abhaya Hasta and to wave to everyone, really showering bliss as only He can. He walked to the corner and turned right into the central aisle, again speaking to one or two people, blessing and waving His sweet hand. About half-way along the side of
our block there was a little consultation and Swami was persuaded to get into the car again.

He proceeded thus, very slowly to the end of the Hall waving and blessing all on each side. Then the car turned left behind the men, and He greeted the people outside. Moving a little faster now Swami progressed down the side of the men's blocks and when He got to the aisle leading straight to the exit, there was a hesitation, but Swami directed them to go to the front. At the front corner He again alighted to walk in front of the Bhajan singers who were the main occupants of the front blocks this morning. He looked more relaxed now and very, very happy and really walked quite quickly along to the centre. There, two young men were waiting with the rose and the Aarathi, which Swami received and we all sang with great feeling as He continued to walk in front of the women. The car followed close behind.

At the corner Swami again took his seat beside the driver and they drove along to the exit where they turned to the left and I could not see where He went, because many people got up to look over the railing, drawn by His magnetic LOVE, but I imagine He drove down the side outside to bless those crowds before entering the Kalyana Mandap for the morning's programme. I then slowly left, letting the crowds go ahead, everyone was elated. It was like a wonderful festival, a great triumph over the body, Swami came out on top in all His Glory. Someone said, "Why did Swami walk like that and put
Himself to so much trouble, but I think that kind of negative thought, although caring for Swami's welfare, is putting limits on Him which He does not accept. He must be allowed to do what He knows He can do, though of course His compassion for the doctors, who are so devoted to Him, would make Him acquiesce in certain matters and it is clear that He obeyed their wish that He should rest for three weeks before going out to the public, otherwise this might have taken place a week ago.

I do not yet know whether there will be Darshan tomorrow, or only on Sunday - I shall find out.

It is not clear when He will return to Puttaparthi, some still say on Sunday, but others say the doctors wish Him to stay until after Guru Poornima on July 13. It is certainly more restful for Him to be here. We have to wait and see. He has been out at least twice in the car and drove in and out of the General Hospital, He also went to the Super Speciality and the car waited for three minutes outside the third gate, but it was locked and there was no attendant, no one was expecting a divine visitation and so He drove away. Some people have had beautiful car Darshans and Dr. Sundaresh has been blessed with sitting in the front of His car. What and incredible gift of LOVE!

I have now heard that those who were in the Kalyana Mandap could see Swami well in His car where He sat throughout the performance, blessing all who were present. Bhagavan was very happy with the presentation and materialised a gold chain and locket for one of the participants. There will be another performance tomorrow and Swami will give Darshan tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday morning, but not in the afternoon(I'm not sure about Sunday, because of the Bhajans). Perhaps He will return to Parthi after that, unlikely on Sunday itself, because of the new moon, more likely Monday. We have to wait and see - trust His uncertainty!

Sai Ram Swami gave darshan in Sai Ramesh Hall today on 26 th june. He came in the Golf Car in the Sai Ramesh Hall. Then he stopped the Golf Car and got down & started walking. After he walked about 20-30 meters, Dr.Padmanabhan who follows Swami for darshan insisted that Swami should sit in the car again & give Darshan. So reluctantly Swami sat in the car again. and completed the darshan round. Then during Aarti Swami again got down from the Golf Car to receive Aarti & blessed all the devotees and started walking towards Kalyan Mandapam were US youth group were to present a drama to Bhagawan. Again Dr.Padamanbahn insisted Bhagawan to sit in the Golf Cart. Bhagawan obliged him. In the Kalayan Madapam, Swami walked amongst the students & sat for around one hour to watch the drama by US youth group. After the drama Swami materialised chain for one of the participants. He materialised vibhuti for all the drama participants. Swami was looking very beautiful and healthy as before.

After 19 days Yesterday (23-6-03) at 8:30 Am Bhagawan came out of Trayee Brindavan and went to Kannamangala (3 kms from Ashram) in His car. Swami waved his hand to the Devotees who are fortunate to be there at that time . He came back to Ashram after 15-20 mins

Yesterday (22-6-03) also Swami granted his Divine Darshan to Students and staff in Trayee Mandir. Swami told the boys that He will give joy to all of them and that He is going to give Darshan in Sai Ramesh Hall on Thursday Morning. Swami then asked the staff to distribute Prasadam ( Apples). He Himself threw some apples from the balcony to some boys. Swami granted His Darshan to Devotees from the window.

The morning of Sunday 15th June 2003, an unforgettable and sacred
moment for the students, teachers and other elders in Brindavan, they
had the Darshan of Swami in the Mandir at Trayee Brindavan after
nearly two weeks. Swami called these fortunate ones into Trayee
Brindavan at 08:20 a.m., as they were singing Bhajans with a great
intensity of feeling. Swami came out of His room into the balcony and
blessed them. He went round on the circular balcony, looking fully to
each and everyone gathered below. These golden moments lasted for
more than 30 minutes. At the end of the Bhajans, Swami spoke these
touching words.

Students:
If I have come out of a critical dangerous condition, it is for your
sake. Do not have any kind of worry; I will come down soon and bestow
upon you joy and bliss. This eye has not seen the world for the last
9 years (Swami indicated His left eye). Now I am able to see very
clearly.

Even this is to experience the bliss of seeing you. I got back this
vision for your sake (then Swami closed His right eye and looked with
His left eye) I can see perfectly. You should not have any kind of
worry; these worries come and go. Don't think of them. I will come
down soon and grant you limitless joy. This very life is for you. I
am with you, in you and around you.

(Swami called Dr. R. S. Padmanabhan near to Him and showed him to all
the students and elders who were gathered in the Round Hall of
Trayee). Cardiologist Dr. Das said, Dr. Padmanabhan had a serious
problem three days back; Now he is fine. I bless him to lead a long
happy joyful life filled with peace. (Swami then hugged him. He then
enquired Mr. Gokuldas, Mr. Kandaswami and Mr. Ratan Lal about their
welfare). Be happy, be happy, be happy (Swami then asked the teachers
to distribute Prasadam to one and all). I will come down soon, move
amidst you and confer joy on you.

(After blessing the students, Swami went into His room and granted
His Darshan, standing at the window to the devotees and Sevadal
members who had gathered on the lawns outside. He thrust His hand
through the grillwork of the window and waved at them. It was indeed
a very memorable day for one and all.

You should not have any kind of worry.

On 4^th june early morning our beloved swami has a fall in this bathroom.it is rumored that his physical body had a small fracture in his hip.

On 4^th early morning darshan was cancelled.The official reason given for the cancellation of the morning darshan was the central trust meeting. It is leaned that in spite of phycical injury to his leg he attended the central trust meeting in the morning of 4^th june.

All the central trust members had come for the meeting.By afternoon the message has spread and hords of anxious of devotees came to whitefield. The officials informed that there is only slight injury and darshan is temporary suspended.
