RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Won Kwang University (August 2000 - present):
As a visiting professor, I teach classes, and help students with various English projects. I am actively involved in developing new courses and help other professors with projects they are involved with.

Konyang University (1998-2000):
As a full time lecturer, I taught classes, and helped students with various English projects. I was involved in curriculum development and in the summer worked training teachers in TESOL methods and English. I started a club (Power English Broadcasting Club) to broadcast English radio programs on the internet. I also finished my master thesis during this time.

Hannam University Foreign Language and Community Center (Sept. 1997-March 1998):
I taught several courses while working on my Master's degree.

Yukong Oil Company (SK Corp.)(April - August 1997):
I developed and taught English immersion courses to managers. I selected the texts, made the syllabus, taught, and supervised the other teacher. Subjects included Conversation, Writing, Composition, Listening, Pronunciation and TOEIC.

Min Byong Chul Foreign Language Center (BCM)(March 1995 -February 1997):
I taught English in Taejon to students of all ages and levels.

1st Field Regiment (Royal Canadian Artillery)(1986-1995):
From 1989, as a Sergeant and a Master Bombardier (Master Corporal), I taught and organized several courses including leadership (teaching), technical and radio courses.

ESL Tutor (1989-1993):
Taught ESL to Jae Yong Jung. Assisted Daniel Julio DeAracamas with the language and cultural skills required to live in Canada and to write a Master's Thesis in English.

Sullivan & Todd Computer Tutor (1991):
Developed computer courses and wrote the accompanying manuals. Taught the courses and trained my partner. Also did the accounting, advertising, and administration for the school.

Dalhousie University (1990):
With the Sociology and Anthropology Department, I developed and taught an introduction to computers. This included sections on DOS, WordPerfect, VMS, electronic mail, and SPSSX.
