RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Korea University: Seochang Campus
(September 2003 - present):
As the English program on this campus expands, I am, in addition to teaching regular and advanced classes, designing, alone and in cooperation with other teachers, courses and curriculum.

Daily Books (2003 - present):
As a member of a team, I worked in the design, writing and editing of a series of eight workbooks for the first year of the Houghton Mifflin "Images" series. I am currently working on designing the specifications for the second year books.

Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) (February 2001 - August 2003):
I taught Science Writing from notes I developed and also other English classes for the School of Humanities and occasionally for the KAIST Language Center. I helped students with projects and clubs. In the fall of 2002 I created an unofficial class for advanced students, which continued to run as a club after the class finished. In my spare time I also proofread the KAIST Herald and edited a weekly newsletter for students.

Korea Institute for Curriculum Evaluation (KICE) (2001 - 2002):
As a committee member I participated in the selection of the English textbooks for middle and high schools in Korea and I proofread several texts.

Ashley’s Library Center (2002 - present):
As a consultant I have designed and aided in the implementation of many of the key features of this special school including the curriculum, motivational aids, and the computer program which integrates several of the other features.

Won Kwang University (August 2000 - December 2000):
As a visiting professor, I taught classes, and helped students with various English projects. I was actively involved in developing new courses and helped other professors with projects they were involved with.

Konyang University (1998-2000):
As a full time lecturer, I taught classes, and helped students with various English projects. I was involved in curriculum development and in the summer worked training teachers in TESOL methods and English. I started a club (Power English Broadcasting Club) to broadcast English radio programs on the internet. I also finished my master thesis during this time.

Hannam University Foreign Language and Community Center (Sept. 1997-March 1998):
I taught several courses while working on my Master's degree.

Yukong Oil Company (SK Corp.)(April - August 1997):
