My lungs are very close to my heart. They help me breathe. Without them, I'd be dead. If I smoked, it would do damage to my lungs. It'd also damage them if I stabbed byself with a knife in the lunge-area. One tiime I drew a person for science and gave them lungs. There are two lungs within me. If I didn't have lungs, I'd want it to be because I was a robot or because I was super-powered and could breathe under-water. I haven't seen them, but I think they are pinkish. I'm glad I have lungs. My family has lungs too, but they aren't as close to my heart as my lungs are. But they are closer to their owners' hearts.
