A hint...

The picture at the left shows the first five months of the rabbit's productivity. The first month the baby rabbits grow up to be adult rabbits. After the second month, the rabbits do what rabbits do. They multiply and have babies (Rabbits are good at math becasue they multiply well). After the third month, the original pair of rabbits have more babies while their babies grow up. So in the fourth month, we now have 3 pairs of rabbits. In the fifth month, the first born babies have now begun to multiply themselves. The original pair reproduces again and the second born pair grows up and will be able to do what rabbits do next month. So after five months we now have 5 pairs of rabbits. This process will continue over the next 7 months. Babies will be born; take a month to grow up and then begin to have offspring of their own. Just to check your work, there will be 8 pairs of rabbits after six months.

How many pairs of rabbits will there be?
