How to use: Download the patch them unzip it using winzip or another program like it. Run the exe then you are ready to play. |

| To play with this crack one person in the game must have the cd in. Also, you can not click out of "I'm Ready" when the game has begun to launch or you will not be back to play. |
| How to install: Download the program. Then use winzip or any other unziping program to unzip it. Take the age2_x1 and put it into the folder C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\age2_x1. If you are asked to overwrite files, say yes. |
| Note: You will have much faster launches with this crack, but do not put your cd in or you will mess things up. |
