This is the homepage of Varun Aggarwal. I completed B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (2000-2004) from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (Formerly DIT), University of Delhi, India.   I worked with ST Microelectronics (June 2004-June 2005)  and have been free-lancing in months of June-Aug 2005.

Inclinations: I am particularily interested in theoretical issues related to evolution and neurobiology (more recently), spirituality and Philosophy. In the application domain, I am interested in numerous areas in electronics/algorithms (see Projects), bio-inspired engineering being uppermost in my mind right now.

Activities: Ideologically, I am tilted towards solving social issues and problems (I call them'real problems'). I love to know about social issues being pursued by individuals or organisations and be a part (only problem being that I am sometimes too busy to do anything).  Writing poems, articles and stories in hindi (and English) is a keen hobby.  RK Narayan, Premchand, Tolstoy, Chekov are some of my favourite authors. I worked as the editor of the Hindi Section of my college magazine iNSITe for the year 2004.

Consulting: I have been working  on a consulting assignment with Pitambar Infovision developing robotic attachments,  electronics and software. I also have expertise on evolutionary algorithms and analog design automation and shall look forward to consulting assignments.
