He could tell Kaoru was getting impatient. He turned away, suddenly unable to think, What’s wrong with me? He takes a breath to calm himself and tries to say the words forming in the back of his mind, but, unfortunately, they would not come to him. Behind him Kaoru squirms impatiently, but he still couldn’t think of the words. He feels a hand on his shoulder and Kaoru’s soft voice whispering something in his ear. Finally, as the poison rushed through his veins the words came to him, "I love you..."
