Kaoru locked the door of his car slowly and walked towards the entrance from the parking lot. The morning breeze made him smiled and took his glasses off. It felt so good, so calm and cold...

Like him.

His hair blew softly by the gentle wind. Kaoru had purposely let it down, since it wasn't quite dry yet. He had washed it this morning. He needed it, something to wake him up. Yeah, the fact that he was late three hours didn't really bother that much, in fact, not at all! He took no calls no messages...he simply didn't care!

Well...only for today, anyway.

"I think something happens to him!" Toshiya mumbled to Kyo. The vocalist yawned, "As long as I get good sleep. Kaoru is not stupid. He knows how to take care of himself" he replied absentmindedly. Toshiya glared at him.

Die flipped a paper to its other side then brushed his hair idly, "I agree with Kyo. He switched everything off, which means, well, he doesn't wanna be disturbed. Right Shinchan?" he turned to the young man who sat beside him.

Shinya made no reply

Die fumed and flipped the paper to Shinya's face, "Ohayou gozaimasu...!!!" he exclaimed. The drummer jumped, glared then grabbed the paper, scrunched it then threw the ball to a corner of the room. Die gasped, "Shinya!" he looked at the young man in disbelief.

Shinya looked away

"Oh, well..." Die shurrged, turning away from Shinya, "If he's not here in few minutes, let's just start without him. We know what to do today right?" he looked at everyone then took out a folder and started to look through a pile of papers, "I really think we should change this bit here, ..." he pointed at a page.

Kyo chuckled, "So what's with you Die? Looking very different today!" Kyo asked aloud, smiling wickedly.

Toshiya giggled

Shinya was still looking at other direction

Die cleared his throat, "Urusai! Nothing happens!" he hissed.

Toshiya burst out laughing, "He was a good boy, Kyo. By the way Die" he turned to Die, "I need to talk to you..." he winked at the red head. Die blushed and covered his face with a paper.

Kyo laughed, "Here comes the expert! Prepare for harsh critism!!!" he mocked.

Shinya blinked and looked at the watch

Kaoru smiled a little as he was greeted by several people who obviously looked at him weirdly. Three hours late? Kaorusan? No way!!!

But yes...he was three hours out of schedule

Kaoru pouted as he opened the door, noises suddenly became audible.

"That's so no true! I think it's a good part there!" came Totchi's voice.

"It sucks!" Die's voice replied

--snores snores--

"I agree with Diekun" came a short comment.

Kaoru rolled his eyes. No matter what happened, it didn't seem to affect the boys at all. He was late, they were still as usual, quarreling. The violet head shook his head and smiled, walking silently towards his bandmates.

"You're saying that becoz Die has been saying nice things about you lately! And you want me to suffer anyway! What's wrong with my bass part?! NOTHING!!!" Toshiya replied, sounding as if he was pouting.

Well, he was.

"But Totchi...we need to change that part! You see-" Die flipped the papers and showed Toshiya a page. Then they talked about it for few minutes and Toshiya was almost in tears.

"FINE!!! If you really think I suck, then...I-I- QUIT!!!!" Toshiya yelled, exploded.

...

"There's nothing wrong with it" came a cold voice.

Die looked up, Shinya joined his eyebrows and Kyo opened his eyes (obviously pretending to sleep!)

Toshiya gasped, turned his head around then smiled

"I KNEW you would say that!" the bassist rushed to him and held his arm. Kaoru leaned slightly then gave Toshiya a light kiss on the lips, to the younger man's surprise. But of course he didn't say anything. Nobody did.

Kyo looked at Die, who looked weird.

Shinya lifted an eyebrow.

"It's not about Toshiya's part. It's the song as a whole. We ought to change it a bit" he spoke, looking at Die, who nodded.

"I was kind of teasing Totchi anyway..." Die said, laughing at the basisst. Toshiya pouted and stuck his tongue out at the red head while still clutching his arms around Kaoru's. The older guitarist took his chin then looked into his eyes.

Toshiya blinked

"May I talk to you Totchi?"

"Yeah!"

"Outside..."

"..."

Kaoru walked away towards the exit, leaving Toshiya behind. But then Toshiya thought, maybe Kaoru wanted some. May I talk to you...? Sounded quite calm, which was very ironic coz the calmer Kaoru was about sex, the more deprived (is this the right word?) he was.

So Toshiya grinned and trailed behind Kaoru.

The other moaned, except Shinya; of course, who chose to be aware about the fact that Kaoru was -very- late that morning. Then the kiss, which didn't make sense after all those 'Totchi hurt my ego' thing. But to think about the recent ...Kaoru having sex with Toshiya in the rehearsal room...that's impossible!

And the world was full of impossible things...he knew that. Yet...

Toshiya wrapped hisarms around Kaoru from behind, inhalling the scent.

So mysterious...Kaoru, he thought.

"What do you want to talk about?" he whispered.

Kaoru unwrapped his arms and turned around. Toshiya looked up and widened his eyes. All relaxed expression, calm looks, GONE. Kaoru was actually grabbing his hands so tightly that it hurt so much! And Kaoru's eyes so full of anger!

Toshiya shrieked as Kaoru shoved him off, to the wall (threw him against the wall, more likely) and held his hands.

"...K-Kaoru! Itai!!!" Toshiya whimpered in pain and confusion.

Kaoru's look was scary...

"Listen to me, Hara!"

Hara...when was the last time he heard being called that way?

And the voice...

"H-Hai...?" he whispered, scared.

Kaoru pressed his hands against the wall, "Listen to me. Ever since you thought about joining the band, you would also think about the consequences being in it. Ever since you signed the contract, you're to be bonded with the band! No matter what happens, there's no way you can go, just like that!" Kaoru's face was inch close to his, and his eyes were shot right into his.

Toshiya gasped....then nodded

"Don't you let me hear anything from you, anything about walking away, -anything- about quit. Don't You Dare!" Kaoru stated coldly.

Toshiya nodded strongly..."Hai...hai..." he whispered. He wanted to turn away, but couldn't. Not only kaoru held his hands but Toshiya felt that Kaoru was also 'holding' his eyes. He just couldn't look away!

Kaoru took a long look at him then released his hands. Toshiya gasped, held his hands then winced.

When Toshiya looked up, Kaoru has gone.

What's going on...how come...Kaoru...?

The practice went quite successful. Kyo sang well, Die played well and was very helping in giving opinions away so the song was getting better and better. Shinya played -very- well that Kaoru was actually smiling to the drummer. Kaoru himself was as always, cold, determined, knowing and ambitious. Perfectionist as well, but it was very good for the music.

But everything wouldn't be so perfect, so smooth...if it wasn't because of Toshiya NOT fooling around. The bassist was very quiet since the practice started and was very obidient and very ...helping. Not that fooling around was bad, and not that Toshiya was bad, but...it was very unusual for everybody to see Toshiya stood quietly playing bass.

Kyo noticed

Die realised

Shinya could guess what happened

Kaoru didn't say anything.

"Okay, guys. Let's call it a day?" Kaoru placed his guitar back to its box and looked up. Kyo nodded and took out his phone while Die smiled at him and walked towards Toshiya, who went all silent. Shinya packed his stuff then approached Kaoru.

"Leader sama..." he spoke softly.

Kaoru smiled at that and turned his head around, "Hai..." he replied. Shinya was trying to hold his smile but he kind of failed so he ended up looking kawaii.

"This is drum and bass part for your new song. I listened to the melody the whole night and..." Shinya shrugged, handing him few pieces of paper, and a Zip disk. Kaoru nodded, smiled wider and took them. "But we haven't talked about it yet" Kaoru spoke, impressed.

But this was Shinya, who did everything ahead.

"I like it that way. Don't change it much" Shinya replied, looking at the older man. Kaoru laughed, "Shinkun, I really wonder why. Why can't you be a bit more relaxed. It's not that we don't have time for that song...and it's not really ready to be discussed anyway"

Shinya smiled and rolled his eyes

"I mean it! Die hasn't even known about it! And you've already come up with drum AND bass parts" Kaoru glanced at he papers. Shinya smiled back.

"It will be the same thing...you'r the one writing the song anyway"

"But we work together eh?" Kaoru shook his head and patted Shinya's head.

Shinya pouted

"Do you write it with Toshiya?"

"No"

"..."

...

"Why?"

"Well, I'm telling him to get together and we will finish few songs...I'll make sure it's fast" Shinya smiled weirdly, turning his head to look at Toshiya, who was looking like he was going to cry with Die sitting beside him and Kyo in front of him, talking on the phone.

Kaoru smiled back the same way

"That's a good idea..." he commented and looked at where Shinya was looking.

Then he sighed

"Looks like I have something to do, Shinkun..so will you please excuse me?" he asked politey and Shinya moved his arm, "Arigato" he winked and patted the younger one's head.

Shinya pouted

Kaoru walked towards the basisst and called out his name. Toshiya gasped, looked scared but approached the older man. Then after kaoru whispered few things to him, and onll to him, making sure nobody else heard it; the pretty one pouted and Kaoru hugged him. Toshiya shut his eyes and hugged back after Kaoru placed a kiss on his forehead.

Die stared with weird looks in his eyes while Kyo glanced at the 'couple' then at the red head. Shinya smiled a little then threw his own skinny self on the couch.

Nobody would ever understand what kind of relationship Kaoru and Toshiya had
