Toshiya ~ Shinya’s master!

Shinya wakes up in the middle of the night, he had heard someone calling his name. Who is it? Taking a look at his roommate who was sleeping so soundly, he decides not to wake him up and goes to investigate himself.

 

He did not know till now that the place was actually so big. The band had arrived here for their video shot as well as will be staying at this old mansion for a short time. This place was just too beautiful to describe although it look rather old.

 

The drummer walks quietly along the hallway, against the wind that was blowing sturdily at him. Where did the wind actually come from? Although the mansion was old but there is no hole or anything.

 

Being increasingly curious, he follows the direction where the wind was blowing against him until he reaches the end. The wind stops suddenly and the drummer found himself standing in front of a door.

 

“ Shinya.”

 

The drummer froze. It’s the same voice that he had heard earlier on, who could it be? With all his courage, Shinya stretch his hand and open the door gradually. It was bright inside the room, Shinya looks around but no one was in the room.

 

The drummer steps into the room and began to explore it. Out of a sudden, the door slams close by itself that cause the drummer to jump in fright. Shinya turns back and look at the direction of the door; to his surprise, he saw someone sitting there.

 

“ Who are you?” Shinya ask and notice that the person was weeping.

 

No answer! The drummer asks again, still no answer from that person. Shinya start to get impatient and slowly approach that person.

 

“ I’ve been waiting for you, you say you’ll help me but it had been so long.” That person spoke suddenly.

 

“ What are you saying?” Shinya stops right behind that person. “ Who are you actually?”

 

That person did not answer again but he turns to face the drummer, still weeping softly. Shinya stare at that person, speechless. How come? Aren’t you still sleeping in the room?

Die knock on the door of the room that his lover and the bassist had shared. He could understand why the blue head had not appeared in the breakfast room but how come Shinya was still not ready? He knows that his lover always wakes up early and prepare everything the band would need.

 

“ Shinya! Totchi!” The red head yell and knock a few more time on the door.

 

The door open slowly after a while, the bassist was standing at the door yawning. “ Baka! Do you know what time is it?” He says lazily at the red head.

 

“ Totchi?” Die had expected his lover to open the door instead of the bassist. “ Where’s Shinya?”

 

The bassist gives a sluggish glare at the red head and then point to the bed where the drummer was still sleeping. Die immediately ignore the bassist and walk to his lover, worried, thinking that his lover might be sick.

 

“ Shinya.” The red head called softly. “ Wake up now.”

 

No respond from his lover. The red head called again, the bassist look at his friend, the drummer still sleeping. Die began to get anxious and yell louder, Toshiya knows something is wrong with the drummer.

 

“ SHINYA!!” Die exclaims louder and shakes his lover harder.

 

The drummer moves his body suddenly and yawns. Toshiya look worrying at his friend; while the red head tries to wake his lover up again.

 

“ Die?”  Shinya was surprise to see his lover when he opens his eyes. “ What’re you doing here?”

 

The red head explain to his lover what had happened to him earlier on but the drummer only say that he was maybe too tired. Toshiya who was already awaken by now was putting on his whatever light-makeup and making sure that he look pretty.

 

“ Toshiya, did you leave the room yesterday night?” Shinya asked suddenly.

 

“ Huh? No, I was already asleep before you do right?”

 

Shinya nod his head slightly. I might be dreaming, anyway I was sleeping on my bed when I woke up! It just a dream!

Shinya, Die and Toshiya meet their leader at the hall where he was having his breakfast. Their vocalist was still nowhere to be seen. The four of them sits down and have breakfast together chatting around what they going to do in this video they are shooting.

 

Toshiya began his daily ‘work’, starting to flirt with their leader and then the red head, not caring that the red head’s lover was also there. Shinya had already used to it and does not care about it.

 

Two hours later, everything was ready and their vocalist appears automatically in front of them. The video takes almost the whole day and by the time they had finish, it was already midnight.

The bassist was sleeping soundly. Shinya lay on his bed; the wind blow at him, which make him feel comfortable, but he just could not sleep.

 

“ Shinya.”

 

The drummer froze. He was sure that he was not dreaming now. It was the same voice that had been calling him. Shinya stand up and walk out of the room, toward the same way he had walk yesterday to that room.

 

Shinya open the door, the same person was standing there looking at him. The drummer was about to speak up when he felt a tap at his shoulder.

 

“ Toshiya!” Shinya turns back and saw the bassist looking at him.

 

“ Shin-chan, what are you doing here?”

 

Shinya look at the person inside the room and then back to the bassist. Toshiya follows the drummer’s sight and look into the room.

 

“ What the hell??” Toshiya exclaim when he had a clear view of that person.

 

At that moment, everything starts to blackout in front of them.

Shinya wakes up all of a sudden, sweating. He was in his room, Is it a dream again? But it was just too real. The drummer suddenly remembers that the bassist also saw that person and wants to confirm with him.

 

Shinya stand still, the bassist was not in his bed and it not supposes to be. It was still very ‘early’ for the bassist to wake up. Something had happened to Toshiya? Thinking of this, the drummer rush out of the room to look for the bassist.

 

Shinya stood in front of that room, the door was open but no one was inside. Where had the bassist gone?

 

“ Shinya, what are you doing here?”

 

“ Die!” Shinya exclaim in surprise. “ Have you see Toshiya?”

 

“ No. Isn’t he still sleeping now?”

 

Shinya shake his head. Die close the door of that room and pull his lover with him to the breakfast room. Maybe he’s there, Die say but confirm it is impossible straight away.

 

**

 

The red head and his lover head to the dining room where they saw their leader standing at the entrance staring at something. They became curious and follow the direction where their leader was looking at.

 

“ Toshiya???”

 

The three of them stand at the entrance looking at the bassist who was busily preparing breakfast. Jaw-dropped. Their ‘never ask me make breakfast’ bassist had wake up early in the morning preparing breakfast?

 

“ Good morning!” Toshiya greets when he saw them.

 

…

 

“ He is greeting us?” Die asks.

 

“ He’s looking so fresh early in the morning?” Kaoru froze.

 

“ Is he sick?” The drummer asked worrying.

 

**

 

All of them sit at the dining table, glazing at the food on the table. The bassist looks at them happily and invites them to taste the food. Kaoru felt his heart stop beating; the red head wonder will it snow suddenly.

 

“ Toshiya, are you alright?” Shinya asked worried.

 

“ Huh? What you mean?” The bassist looks up. “ Of course I’m fine.”

 

Everything was so weird and everyone had notice about it. Firstly, their bassist wakes up early in the morning, and then he prepares breakfast which he never done before. He did not flirt with anyone, does thing perfectly and treat everyone nicely.

 

That will be a prefect Toshiya if ask everyone but it will also lost the feeling of the normal bassist. They like this Toshiya but they miss that old Toshiya! What happened to their ‘ I’m the queen’ bassist?

 

**

 

The video shooting will finally end within two more days. Shinya had not heard that voice nor seem that person since that day. Thus, he still believes that there is something usual happening around him.

 

“ Shin-chan, are you asleep?” Toshiya called out his roommate.

 

“ Nope.”

 

“ Care to have a chat?” The bassist asks and starts talking before being answer.

 

Shinya listen to his friend and speaks out sometime especially when the topic comes to the red head. It seem to be a long time that he had chat with the bassist and he somehow enjoy it.

 

“ So Shin-chan, have you give him that letter I ask you to?”

 

“ What letter?” The drummer asked.

 

“ The one saying that I’ll be waiting for him here?”

 

“ Huh?”

 

“ You didn’t?” The blue head continue. “ But I’ve been waiting for so long?”

 

Shinya froze. What is the bassist talking about? Waiting for so long? Letter? He suddenly remembers of what that person in that room had say to him.

 

You say you’ll help me, but I had already waited for so long…

 

“ Who are you!?” Shinya exclaim and sits up of his bed glaring at the ‘bassist’.

 

“ Toshiya! Your master!”

 

…

Shinya open his eyes suddenly, sweating. He looks at the bed of the bassist but he is not there. The drummer gets up from his bed and look outside the window, the morning breeze was blowing lightly on his face, it just feel so good. ‘Am I dreaming again?’ 

 

Toshiya… my master??

The band was having their last part of their video shot. Everything seems to be normal, but in Shinya and Kaoru’s eyes, Toshiya was just treating the red head too well. Helping the red head from head to toes and getting him whatever he need.

 

Die had also notice the changes of the bassist but he just can’t reject the bassist. Might as well say that it felt like heaven to have the bishounen treating him like this.

 

Shinya gives his lover a glance and then to the bassist, Kaoru felt his temperature rise, both of them were too jealous to say anything.

 

**

 

Die was reading some magazine when someone knocks at his door. He opens it and saw the bassist standing outside.

 

“ Totchi, what are you doing here at this hour?”

 

“ … I miss you so much… I just want to be with you… I’ve been waiting for so long.”

 

“ What are you saying? And you know that Shinya is my lover.”

 

“ Is it because of him that you did not come to find me?”

 

The red head knows that something is wrong with the bassist. He is saying things that the red head could not understand just like what Shinya had told him earlier on about the dream and the person in that room.

 

“ Die!” Toshiya and the red head turns and saw the drummer standing at the door.

 

Die approach his lover and whisper to him something. The drummer looks up at Toshiya who was looking innocently at them.

 

“ Tell me!” Shinya continue. “ Who are you actually? You’re not Toshiya, am I right?”

 

“ What are you saying? Of course I am!”

 

“ No! You’re the person in that room!”

 

The blue head just stare back at them, and then laugh. Shinya and Die froze, they are right. This person right in front of them was not their friend; he’s the one in that room who looks exactly the same as Toshiya.

 

The red head pull his lover behind him trying to protect him in case ‘Toshiya’ do something to harm them.

 

“ WHO ARE YOU?” The red head exclaimed.

 

‘Toshiya’ stops laughing all of a sudden; he stare at the red head and speak out something soft but loud enough for the red head and his lover to hear.

 

Toshiya! Shinya’s master!

Die does not really understand what ‘Toshiya’ was saying but he was worry for the real Toshiya.

 

“ Where is Toshiya and what do you want?”

 

The ‘Toshiya’ smile at them; showing them a hand-sign asking the red head to follows him. Die holds his lover’s hand tightly and both of them follow that ‘Toshiya’.

 

‘Toshiya’ bring the two of them to that room where Shinya first see him; he open the door and inside it was actually a huge garden. They follow Toshiya into the room in hope that they could save the real Toshiya and also wanted to know what this ‘Toshiya’ want from them.

 

**

 

Once they enter the room, they found themselves could not move; they struggler but in vain then they pass out.

“ Master Toshiya!”

 

“ Shinya, how many time must I tell you not to call me master Toshiya!”

 

“ But you’re my master!”

 

“ Just call me Toshiya will do, you know that I always treat you as my brother.”

 

“ But I’m just your servant.”

“ Shinya. Please help me! Give this letter to lord Die, tell him I’ll be waiting for him here!”

 

“ Master… what you intend to do?” The servant asked.

 

“ I must leave here with Die, I don’t want to go overseas or I will never get to see Die again”

 

“ Old master will be angry.”

 

Although Shinya does not know whether to follow Toshiya’s instruction but he did it because he could not reject his master begging. He knows Toshiya does not want to go overseas and want to be with Die but Toshiya’s father strongly disapprove the relationship between Die and Toshiya, as both of them are man.

 

Also, he just can’t tell Toshiya that he was also in love with Die. How could he say out? Toshiya had always treated him so well; not as a servant but like a brother. How could he tell Toshiya that he also love the man he like. He knows that once Toshiya knows about it, he will definitely give up Die for him.

 

Shinya finally decides to follow his master’s instruction and sent the letter to Die. When Die saw the letter, he rush to the mansion just to what Shinya had expected. He knows Die just love Toshiya too much.

 

On the way, they were attack by some men that was sent by Toshiya’s father and was killed in the incident.

 

Toshiya waits in the room; one days passed, one month passed. Neither did Shinya nor Die had come. Completely disappointed, he commits suicide and die in the room.

The red head and his lover finally saw what had actually happened to this ‘Toshiya’. So he wanted revenge from us? But it’s not our fault!

 

That ‘Toshiya’ walk to the red head and knee down beside him with Shinya staring at him. He moves closer to the red head and whispers something to him at his ear.

 

“ Don’t harm Die!” Shinya yell as he began to get anxious to what that ‘Toshiya’ might do to his lover.  

 

That ‘Toshiya’ looks at Shinya who was about to cry and smile at him. “ Don’t worry Shin-chan, I won’t harm him nor you neither.”

 

“ What do you actually want?” The drummer asked.

 

“ Just to borrow both of your bodies for my love one and my servant.”

 

……?

 

“ I’ve something that I have not do when I’m alive, please help me. I can’t do without your body.”

The drummer was still thinking what that ‘Toshiya’ was saying when he saw his lover standing up and approach that ‘Toshiya’. It not supposes to be, as both of them could not move their body?

 

“ Toshiya, I finally see you again.” Die says much to the drummer surprise. “ I miss you so much.”

 

“ Lord Die.”

 

Shinya was speechless when he sees his lover hugging that ‘Toshiya’. He knows that his lover was no longer himself now; he must be that lord Die.

 

“ I’ve been waiting so long for you!”

 

“ I’ve come to find you once I receive your letter but…”

 

That ‘Toshiya’ stops whatever his lover was saying and give him a kiss. “ I know. I’m sorry to cause your death and also Shinya.”

 

“ That’s not your fault.”  ‘Die’ say and embrace ‘Toshiya’ tighter before wiping away the tears at his lover’ eyes.

The drummer suddenly feels a cold wind blowing at him; before he can do anything, he loses conscious.

 

“ Master Toshiya!” ‘Shinya greets.

 

‘Toshiya’ look at ‘Shinya’ and run to him. “ Shinya!”  He exclaimed with happiness.

 

This may be the only chance they can see one another; the first and also the last. ‘Toshiya’ feel that he had so much to tell ‘Shinya’ but he know he had to do something more important first. To apologize to Shinya and also to tell Die something that he had not tells him.

A letter ‘Toshiya’ had wrote to ‘Shinya’ when he had commits suicide. He just wants Shinya to know in case Shinya did come back after he went missing for so long.

 

Dear Shinya,

                I did not know what happen to you, but when you see this letter, I may already been death. I’m very sorry! Actually, I already know that you are also in love with Die but I could not give him to you. He’s the only one that I will not give up! I know you will think that I will give him up for you if you tell me but I won’t. I had used your kindness to hide up my selfishness. Please forgive me!

“ Master, you have done nothing wrong!” ‘Shinya say after he reads the letter. “ You should not blame yourself for so long.”

 

“ Yes, what he say is right. Human will not give up the one they love so easily.” ‘Die’ say and comfort his lover.

 

“ Shinya, thank you!” ‘Toshiya continue. “ Then tell Die your feeling now. This is your last chance.”

 

‘Shinya’ nod slightly and blush. He did not say anything although; but ‘Die’ understand and give him a kiss. Something that can be understands in their heart.

 

After that, Shinya finally disappear leaving his master and Die. He had finally done what he always wanted to do and all this must thanks to his master.

“ What about me?”  ‘Die’ asked.

 

“ Can you asked me again the question you had asked me on that night?”

 

‘ Die’ give a grinned. He thought he will never get an answer from his lover from the day he die.

 

//

“ Will you marry me?”

 

“ Yes, I will!”

 

An answer which had been delayed so long. Tears drop down his chin; ‘Toshiya’ had waited so long just to tell his lover the answer.

 

“ I love you!” ‘Toshiya say and hug his lover. “ How I wish I can be Shinya.”

 

“ Why?”

 

“ He can be with you in this new century.”

 

“ All of us may look alike but the fact is we are no longer ourselves in this new century. The most important thing is my love for you will always be a fact. We had gone through a story of ours and it will always remain in our heart no matter what we had become.”

 

 ‘Toshiya’ was so touch of what his lover had said, he wanted to be with him longer but the time seems to be up. The lovers’ stands at the window, hugging each other looking at the sun rise. A perfect view from the window at that room.

 

“ Remember, I will love you forever!” Die Whisper. “ Good bye, my love.”

Shinya wakes up and stare at the ceiling. Is it a dream again? He looks at the bassist who was still sleeping soundly in his bed.

 

The band was packing their belonging before leaving the mansion later in the afternoon. Toshiya had return to his normal self, Kyo was still sleeping, and Kaoru was busy with his unfinished stuff with the help from the red head.

 

Shinya had asked his lover about the dream but the red head seem not to remember anything just like the bassist. A dream that’s so real; the drummer thought.

All the assistants move to the bus where the band members were already in there. Some of the assistant there was chatting about something that attracts Shinya attention.

 

“ This mansion will be pulled down soon?” The drummer asked in astonish when he hears it.

 

The assistants nod their head. Shinya felt his heart squeeze up suddenly. Why? Shinya took a last look at the mansion when the bus drove passed.

 

// Thank you, Shin-chan! //

 

That voice again! Shinya looks up at the window of that room; this time he smile. It’s not a dream!

 

“ What are you looking at?” The red head ask his lover.

 

“ Nothing.” Shinya reply and hug his lover’s arm.
