Surprise!

"OH MY GOD….."

"WoooHooo~"

"YEEEEAAAAH!"

"Holy~"

Just some of the comments Yukkie, Tetsu, Kohta, Kaoru, Levin, Kirito, Takashi, Aiji, Hyde, Toshiya and Tadashi managed to utter/scream/express as they looked in awed at the feast that was spread before them.

A long table had mysteriously found its place in front of Berry Bush home. On it were mountains of sweets that would delight even the pickiest eater.

Buttermilk cookies, wheat crackers, buttered corn kernels, sugared corn kernels, popcorn, mint candy, maple drops, caramel pudding, nectar, honey, honeyed milk, vanilla ice cream, candied flower petals, jam, assorted mixed nutty crackers, assorted nuts, shaved ices, strawberry with cream, sweet bread, white bread, butter, brown sugar, cheese….

The killer was the huge chocolate mousse cake sitting in the middle of the table. Chocolate is a rarity in their area, only available in cities and towns so one can guess just how these fairylings were dying to sink their little pixie teeth into it.

So absorbed with the array of sweets, they failed to notice the surroundings of Berry Bush. The atmosphere was different. Glow-worms were hung around the berry bushes, twinkling like stars. The cool evening wind danced with the tinkle bells that were scattered among the bushes, creating a nameless melody that was unique in its composition. Her other dance partners also included the flora scents of sweet freesia and sweet pea, aromatic lavender and exotic gardenia.

"AHEM~! Will this party start anytime soon? I would prefer to have it like now~"

The group of fairylings snapped out from their short trace to see Die, Kyo, Ryutaro, Emiru, Miyabi and Sakito smiling at them brightly.

"WELCOME TO RUNRUN MORI KAORU-KUN AIJI-KUN!!!!"

For the first time in a long time, the two city fairylings felt happiness bloom from their hearts.

"Where's Akira?" Levin asked, crumbs of sweets dusted all over his pixie face as he sank his teeth into a strawberry bit, covering the tip of his nose with cream.

"Oh he's with us~" Kyo chuckled happily as he informed his friends.

"Really? Where?" Tadashi asked, sweeping the area for signs of Akira's presence.

"Ryu-chan~" Kyo chirped.

Ryutaro nodded, pulling something out from the bag he'd hung from his neck.

It was an aphid with red hair.

"Isn't he just adorable!!!" Ryutaro flushed as he cuddled the little green insect in his face.

"Yeap~! Simply adorable!" Kyo chuckled.
