Chapter Four - Isn't he cute!

"You sure about this?" Kyo asked. He was not totally convinced.

"Trust us Kyo." Toshiya and Miyabi assured the young Pixie Elf as they read him the incantation one more time. The two had offered to help Kyo with his magic since they were free.

Die had to help out in his mom's candy store so he could only join them later. Die had already learnt three new spells but Kyo only learnt two. He HAS to learn another spell before the day ends since the test set by Head Master Izam is the following day.

"Okay….. Here goes…" Kyo closed his eyes, took a deep breath and started to chant the spell, holding onto his magic stone.

When the chant was over, Kyo opened his eyes….. And nearly had a heart attack.

Everything looked HUGE!!!

Kyo wondered if he had gotten the incantation wrong as he scratched his head…… Then found he had no hands!

Eh!? What in Faeire happened!?!?

Kyo barely got his marbles back when he felt himself lifted off the ground.

"Kyo? That you?" Miyabi had a look of disbelief on his face as he stared at Kyo.

"I think it's him… Look! There's blonde hair on the ladybug's head!" Toshiya said as he ruffled the yellow locks.

Agrrrr~! Don't!

Kyo growled as he tried to get away from Toshiya but found that he couldn't turn his head.

"Kyo! It IS you!" Miyabi exclaimed as he hugged him.

Miyabi! Stop it! I can't breathe!

"Cool~! Kyo actually got the incantation right the first time round! For once!" Toshiya sounded quite pleased with himself.

"Yeah Kyo! Ain't it great!" Miyabi grinned as he jiggled the ladybug Kyo about in his arms.

Yeah great, whatever. Can I change back now?

"Isn't he cute!!" Miyabi cannot help but kiss ladybug Kyo.

Agh! You are DEAD!

Kyo cursed as he glared at the smiling Miyabi.

"Yeah~! He's so cute!" Toshiya beamed as he grabbed ladybug Kyo from his brother and kissed it too.

Arrgh~! That's it! You two are Troll dinner!

"Hey~! Give him back! I had him first!" Miyabi pouted as he tried to snatch Ladybug Kyo back from Toshiya.

"What's going on?"

Toshiya and Miyabi paused amidst their little scuffle to find Die frowning at them.

"What's all the racket about? And where's Kyo? I got him his favourite maple drops."

Die asked as he took another bite out of his wheat cracker. He really wanted a buttermilk cookie but Inoran had said no and had told him that he seemed a bit too well endorsed around his mid-section recently. So wheat crackers it was.

Maple drops!

Kyo screamed as he wriggled to get out from Toshiya's embrace. Then he remembered that he was now a ladybug and it was impossible for him to do anything so he gave up. But suddenly he found himself shoved into Die's face.

"Arg~! Get that ladybug outta my face Totchi!" Die scorned as he ducked away, biting into his cracker again.

"Mou~!" Toshiya rolled his eyes, wondering how in the world could Die not know that it was Kyo.

"Look carefully Die-nii. Look, look." Miyabi urged as Toshiya shoved the ladybug into Die's face again.

"What's to look at? It's a freakin ladybug with blonde hair so….. Eh?!?!?!" Die choked in mid sentence as it finally hit him.

"KYO?????!!!!???" Die stared HARD at the ladybug with messy blonde hair. The ladybug twitched its antennas.

Yes Nii-san~ Now quit eating and help me!!

"Hai~!" Toshiya and Miyabi beamed.

"Isn't he just adorable!" Toshiya happily jiggled Kyo around like he was a toy.

HELP!!!

"Mine!" Miyabi pouted and grabbed Kyo.

"No!" Toshiya refused to let go as the brothers engaged themselves in a tug-of-war.

Look guys I'm flattered but….

"Hey wait a min…." Die barely gotten half a sentence out then gasped. Somehow someone lost his grip on Kyo and Kyo was flung into the air.

HELL~!?

Toshiya and Miyabi's screams faded into nothingness as Kyo said his final prayers.

MOMMY!!!

 "What in Faeire's name?" Kaoru frowned as he stared at the bundle in his arms. One minute he was loading his luggage onto the carriage, the next he finds two beady eyes staring at him!

Eck! The Devil!!

Kyo twitched his antennas.

"Kaoru-kun! Quit playing with Papi and load this up!" Aiji exclaimed as he pushed a box towards Kaoru.

Okay, it is not Hell. I am not dead. Then who the hell are you!?

"But…." Kaoru sighed, then set the ladybug gently in the passenger area at the front.

"You. Stay here and don't make trouble for me, you hear? Just because Shinya loves you to bits don't mean that you can get away with everything." Kaoru pouted as he nagged at the ladybug, waving his finger at it like a mother would to a child.

"Kaoru!"

"Okay okay, I'm coming!" Kaoru frowned as he headed back to help his friend with the luggage.

Hey…Hey! Come back! Who's Shinya? Who are you? Where are you taking me? Help! Elf-nappers! Hold on…I'm a bug…. Bug-nappers!!

Kyo tried to get out of the carriage but the door was shut.

Darn it! How do I change back?

The ladybug paced to and fro in the carriage. Then stopped in mid-stride, its body and legs tensed.
