  Don't be hard on yourself. You're not alone.  I was in the dark about Ohta San. Self-effacing and modest, he's one who hides his light under a bushel.  Very low key.  

  Some people hunt for material treasures; me, I search for soul treasures. I learned about him by seeking out information online, on concert programs, liner notes, media articles, as well as interviews in print. 
  
  He's a rare and precious treasure.
