LETTER TO THE EDITOR
April 4th, 2009

Cabrillo College, a bustling little community college located in Aptos, California, has now officially silenced and criminalized political free speech and dissent on its campus.

As a current student and Alumni of the College, I have- as of 4.02.2009- been offically "banned" (i.e "suspended" to use their terminology) from campus for simply exercising my 1st Amendment right to free speech and for organizing to protest and confront (through a formal grievance procedure) an unlawful new police state spy and surveillance policy recently enacted regarding a new mandatory "log-in" protocol at the college library.

What is ironic about this malicious assault on my personal and academic civil liberties is that there is a large bust of Dr Martin Luther King located at the very center of the campus. The college professes to adhere to the principles and philosophy of one of the greatest civil rights activists in this nation's history, and yet, turns around and openly works to criminalize free speech and silence political dissent on its campus! What hypocrisy!

Surely, with these kinds of twisted and perverted values, belief systems and illegal right wing fascist military police state practices at the college, is it any wonder that the country is imploding socially, morally, spiritually and economically?

I publically call for the immediate dismissal and "firing" of all those college officials responsible for unlawfully engaging in this illegal witch hunt against my right to be an activist, a student and a defender of academic freedom and liberty on the Cabrillo College campus.

I openly call on the community to assist me in filing a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the College for willful and malicious discrimination, unlawful and illegal police state spying and surveillance, and for egregious assaults on our cherished constitutional civil liberties as American citizens.
