Caleb Winters
Born: 1760  Died: Febuary 18, 1843
Caleb Winters was the son of Moses Winters  Moses Winters and his wife Elizabeth were among the first settlers who came to Robertson County Tennessee in 1779.
They were innkeepers and were granted Tavern License in 1797.
Caleb Winters was a pioneer Baptist Preacher. He came with the first settlers in 1779, he lived in a cave on Caleb's Creek the first year, and  was a citizen of Robertson County for over 60 years.
Zachariah W. Winters, Mary V. Winters,Mollie (Winters) Powers and Cal Powers are buried in the Red River Baptist Church Cemetery located in Adams, Tn.
