This is the track where I learned to love sports car racing. My father started taking me to Bridgehampton when I was in my early teens. We watched USRRC races at first and later on, the Can Am and even NASCAR when the tour made its northern leg one year. Those were the days. Today the property is being built into a golf course. The land had become too valuable for its own good. I've overlaid a diagram of the track onto a recent aerial photo of the golf course development. Too bad.
