FanArt

I consider myself a composite digital artist. I take pictures and I mix 'em together digitally. I can't sketch or draw quite as good as I'd like to and my scribbles and doodles (which they are) are at best left covered and never to see the light of day. If the picture is drawn, I leave the artists signature on the 'edited' version that I do. This is to say that I in no way drew any of these magnificent drawings. If you want more information on these pictures feel free to e-mail me. I have edited/created these pictures (the ones with my logo logo on them) so please don't steel them without asking, thanks and enjoy!

This is supposed to be Uthro's Tower. It's a composite of only two pictures, the trees and the tower. I imagine that the area around the Tower was a bit more urban and not quite so rural but the trees were pretty and I think it turned out pretty well.

This is a composite of two pictures, the sky and Skan. As you can probably tell the picture of Skan is from the Black Gryphon book cover. It's a really good pic that Jodi Lee did and I just loved how the sky looks!

This is a composite picture of three pictures, the land, sky, and the horses. The original horse picture I had only had about three or five horses so I took them and repeated it to look like a heard of horses.

I found this absolutly georgous picture of a Wyrsa and I just knew I had to do something with it so I made this Tayledras picture that features Keisha Alder and a Wyrsa. The Wyrsa as you see it is the same as the original except for the eye, it's glowing a bit and makes it look menacing.

This is a composite of three pictures. Skan looks lovely and I wanted him to bring that raptor look to the picture so I left it as the original , black and white, but I colored in his eye that just pops right out. If I was a bird I would have preened myself in satisfaction after I finished this picture.

This is a composite of five pictures. It's Companions Field with a few Companions from the book covers casually grazing in front of the Palace. I liked how the lawn turned out since the original pic has a shabby creak through it.

Someone drew this stunning picture of Gwena and his/her signature is at the bottom right of the pic. I overlaid it was a sunset, made her glow and ta-da! This is one of my favorites.

This picture changed so much as I was making it because I kept asking my sister and mom of their opinion and they didn't like it how I would have seen it. Without their influence these Companions would have been in front of an orange sunset in a wheat field. I was thinking of putting them in Karse around the time of Exile's Honor. But my family was having none of that and insisted on a lavender sunset in a field. Either way, it's still pretty.

Well...this is my first attempt and a human fan art picture. It's a composite of three pictures, each having several layers. I'm not thrilled at the outcome. It's supposed to be a version of Formal Herald Whites. Very formal and hardly practical at all. It's just "showy" but simple. I was thinking of outing a cornet on her but I wanted to show of the uniform and I could find a suitable cornet . I plan to go back to this one and 'fix' it because my program of choice, Adobe Photoshop, is on my regular computer and I'm using my laptop for now.

I just couldn't find a decent barbarian picture. I plan to remove this one entirely and place a better one to represent the Northern Tribes. This is a composite of three pictures. They don't exactly blend but..well...like I said, it's being replaced.

Burning Brightly is a phenomenal book and I just loved this cover. It's a composite of four pictures. It turned out wonderfully but if I could change one thing it would have to be the starry sky, it's not starry/real enough =P
