| This Site is dedicated to my friend Martha Grimes. Martha is the reason that allot of the pages to the Memphis Dynasty were created.On August 12th 2003 in the early morning hours God relieved Martha of all her pain. Martha was my friend, someone I loved dearly and will miss forever in my life and heart. Her laugh was contagious and the way she cared for everyone. | Charmaine, Thank you so much for this beautiful memorial for Martha. I will be dedicating the song Just Pretend (because she asked me to sing it for her) and American Trilogy at my next public show on Friday the day of her funeral. I spoke with her last week, had I known it would of been our last conversation, I would of told her how much she meant to me and how much she was loved by me and my family. | It is so hard to belive and seems unreal still. She was always there for me whenever I needed a friend to listen to and I tried in my own small way to always be there for her. She was a truly lovely person both on the inside and outside. She loved all of her friends and I know they were a great source of comfort and joy to her as she was to us. Charmaine Jensen is another friend as I am sure you know and she has a special website for her which is lovely and if you do not have the address it is here. Also there is another one by Susan and she is going to do a special one for her today. At the time of the funeral I will light a candle here and hold my own little memorial for her with Elvis' gospel songs playing. I am so grateful to you for passing on my deepest sympathy to the family. It does help so much when someone can be in personal contact for me.
