Hi! My name is Katie Boucher and this is my interview with Terry Christensen.

1) Where were you born?

Minnesota

2) Where did you go to college?

Wisconsin at River Falls

3) Do you have any kids?

Five

4) What are their names?

Kelli, Kourtney, Katelyn, Kyle, and Blake

5) Do you have a favorite hockey player?

Gordie Howe

6) Do you like any other Sport besides hockey?

Yes, I like all sports.

7) Where did you first coach?

University of Wisconsin

8) When did your hockey career take off?

I played in high school and in college, I coached.

9) Have you coached anyone famous?

Plenty, one on the top of my head was the number one pick in the NHL draft.

10) Has there been a time in your coaching career that stands out?

Several: a) won the NCAA; b) my team and I lost in 1985, it was my best team; c) my first year here with the Tiger Sharks.

11) What do you think makes a good coach?

Ability to communicate with the players, knowledge Jf the game, someone who can motivate, have good relationships with people.

12) How do you decide on a player assistant coach?

He needs to have a lot of experience, someone who is loyal and has respect.

13) What does a player assistant coach do?

They organize away games, help with travel and decisions.

14) What do you do at practice?

Defense, offense and special teams

15) Some players have rituals like the same pregame meal or wearing the same shorts, do you have one? If so, what?

Katie Boucher gives me a pack of the same kind of gum before every game and if we are winning I drive to the arena in the same way.

16) Do you have a goal to achieve before your career is over?

Coach in the NHL

Terry is a very special man to me. He is a big part of our team. I'm very glad I got to interview him. I hope you learned a little more about him.
