Chris LaBelle speaks with Matt Osiecki January, 1997

C: What are your favorite hobbies other than hockey?

M: I love to fish, golf, work out, relax, read books, anything outside if it's nice out, swim, you name it.

C: Do you like playing hockey better in Tallahassee?

M: I love it here, I don't know if I necessarily like playing here than anywhere else. I love Tallahassee. It' a great squad. I've been here three years now, so we've grown accustomed here. I guess you could say I like it better here.

C: How old were you when you started playing hockey?

M: I started skating when I was 3, I ve been playing now for 21 years, which is a long time. I still enjoy it.

C: What do you plan to do after you I retire from hockey?

M: I have a degree in accounting from Notre Dame. Probably somewhere in that area. But I also may become a professional fisherman with Wes Swinson. He wants to talk with me about that. I don't know just anything. I will probably do something in that field and stay away from hockey.
