Third Annual Picnic October, 1997

The first planned event of the year is the Welcome Back Picnic scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Sunday, November 16 at Old Bainbridge Rd. Park (a.k.a. Majorie Turnbull Park). We look forward to personally welcoming all the new players, coaching staff and front office personnel to the Tiger Sharks and to Tallahassee. If you're interested in assisting with setup for this event or for providing paper products or food, please leave a message for Carol Harris on the Fin-Atics hotline at (850) 216-5691.

This event needs about 10 volunteers to help with the set up, children's games and making sure the picnic is a general success.

What Else do We Have Planned?

Below is a tentative list of events that are being planned for the season. As dates, times, prices and locations are finalized, announcements will appear in forthcoming issues of Shark Bytes.

Tip-A-Shark

The Fin-Atics will be hosting a fund-raiser to be held in January. It will be held at a local restaurant with the Tiger Shark players acting as waiters! The fund-raiser will benefit the Tree House. Make plans to attend this exciting event. You will be helping to raise money for the Tree House while you enjoy being waited on by the Tiger Sharks.

The Tiger Sharks also have a new web page designed and maintained by Michael Bennett. Check out the official news, reports and interviews after each game at http://www.tigersharks.talstar.com.

PICK ME UP!!! Please

Please help us help you stay informed. We're asking everyone to please stop by the table located behind section V at any home game and pick up your monthly newsletter. Currently, all newsletters will be on the table either by the 5th of each month or at the first home game after the 5th. Please, please help us save money on postage and help yourself by staying on top of changes or updates to Club events. Check your Handbook for specific publication dates.
